SGGSCC BA (Hons) Eligibility & Highlights 2025
Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce offers three-year BA (Hons) programmes in three different specialisations, namely BA (Hons) in Business Economics, BA (Hons) in Economics and, BA (Hons) in Punjabi. SGGSCC BA (Hons) admission 2025 is based on scores obtained by candidates in the CUET. Candidates who qualify for the entrance exam must register on DU’s CSAS.
Candidates seeking admission to BA (Hons) at SGGSCC are required to pass the Class 12 exam. Apart from the eligibility criteria, candidates must appear for the CUET with the following subject combinations according to the specialisation as mentioned below:

SGGSCC BA (Hons) Admission 2024: How to Apply?
Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce BA (Hons) course admission depends on the CUET scores. To apply for the BA Hons programmes, candidates are required to follow a certain process which includes appearance in the CUET, registration for DU CSAS, CSAS counselling process and, seat allocation. 2: SGGSCC BA (Hons) Application Process 2025
Candidates must appear for the CUET. The next step of the admission process is to apply for DU UG admission through the Common Seat Allocation System. DU registration process is divided into three phases as mentioned below:
- Applying to the University of Delhi
- Filling the preference for BA (Hons) programmes and SGGSCC
- Allocation Cum Admission
3: SGGSCC BA (Hons) Selection Criteria 2025
After the declaration of CUET results, candidates must apply for phase two where they must fill out the preference for SGGSCC and BA (Hons) programmes.
4: DU CSAS Counselling Process and Seat Allocation 2025
The final round of SGGSCC admission is the allocation cum admission round. After the declaration of CUET UG results, DU will allot SGGSCC according to the preference given by candidates and, scores obtained by them in the entrance exam.
Once candidates accept the provisionally allocated seat, SGGSCC will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by candidates online. The college has an option to 'accept' or 'reject' the admission if they find a discrepancy in the information provided by candidates. If the college accepts the application, candidates must then pay the Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce BA (Hons) fees. The tuition fee ranges between INR 1.1 lakh and INR 1.6 Lakh, depending upon the specialisation selected by candidates.

Phase 3: Allocation Cum Admission
During Phase One of the application process, candidates must register for fresh admission and, provide personal, academic details and, upload the documents. If candidates are applying through sports or ECA quota, they must upload supporting documents. The final step of the application process is to pay the CSAS 2024 application fee of INR 250 (INR 100 for SC/ ST/ Pwd category candidates).
STEP 3: Selection Criteria
After the declaration of CUET results, candidates must apply for phase two where they must fill out the preference for SGGSCC and BA (Hons) programmes.

The total seat intake for the BA (Hons) programme offered at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce across various specialisations is 217. The policy for SGGSCC BA (Hons) seat reservation is as follows:
- Candidates from the Sikh minority can also seek admission under the minority quota. 50% of seats are reserved for the Sikh Minority Quota. Candidates seeking admission under this category are required to seek the minority certificate from the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee.
