SMSIMSR Admission 2026: Eligibility, Cutoff, Courses, Application

To get admission in Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, students need to meet the eligibility and clear the selection rounds. SMSIMSR accepts students on NEET-UG basis. Selected students have to pay the admission fees to confirm their seats.

• UG admissions: Students must have completed 17 years of age for admission to the MBBS course. NEET is the accepted entrance examination for admission.
• PG admissions: Counselling for selection of PG Medical students to SMSIMSR will be conducted by the KEA. NEET-PG qualified students who wish to apply for PG Medical admission must register with the Karnataka Examination Authority as per the KEA Schedule.

PG admissions at Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research are already closed. Admission to various courses is based on merit & entrance test scores. 

Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research eligibility requires students to complete Class 12 from a recognised board. See below the SMSIMSR eligibility:

• Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotech and English with a minimum aggregate of 50%
• At least 17 years of age on or before Dec 31 of the admission year
