The mode of SMSIMSR admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance test scores. The below is the SMSIMSR admission info:

  • UG admissions: Students must have completed 17 years of age for admission to the MBBS course. NEET is the accepted entrance examination for admission.
  • PG admissions: Counselling for selection of PG Medical students to SMSIMSR will be conducted by the KEA. NEET-PG qualified students who wish to apply for PG Medical admission must register with the Karnataka Examination Authority as per the KEA Schedule.

No, direct admissions are not given in Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research. Students need to appear for NEET UG and participate in KEA counselling for MBBS admissions. Even for the management quota, NEET is needed.
