Sairam is a good mix of rules and results.
Placements: When it comes to placements, Sairam is doing pretty well! Most of my seniors from IT got placed, around 80 to 85% of them. I heard the highest package was around 10 to 12 LPA (someone cracked a top-tier company), and the average is somewhere near 4.5 to 5 LPA. Companies like Zoho, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, CTS, and a few core companies come in, and some students even got into startups for internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent. Our IT department has proper labs and classrooms with projectors, and the labs are open most of the time. Wi-Fi works in the labs and library (hostel Wi-Fi is not very reliable). The library is peaceful and good for last-minute prep.
Faculty: Most faculty members are friendly and helpful, with some being passionate and providing extra materials and assistance with coding. The curriculum includes useful subjects like DSA, DBMS, Web Dev, and AI basics, as well as value-added courses and placement training. Exams aren't super hard if you pay attention during the internals. The pass percentage is usually good unless you completely skip classes.
Other: I chose IT because I enjoy coding, but didn't want electronics stuff.

Strict college but the best college.
Placements: I am from IT, and my placements here are better than I expected. Around 80% of our batch gets placed every year. The highest package is around 10 LPA, someone cracked a super dream company, and the average is about 4.5 to 5 LPA. A lot of us get into companies like Zoho, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and CTS.
Infrastructure: The college has clean labs, AC classrooms, and a Wi-Fi facility that works most of the time. The IT lab is well-equipped, and they let us use it even during free hours. The library is peaceful and good for last-minute exam panic reading. The hostel is fine, a bit strict, but safe. Food, Some days it is good, some days it makes you cry.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly helpful and kind. If you are stuck, they are ready to explain, especially during project time. The syllabus is okay and covers useful topics like DBMS, Web Development, Python, AI basics, etc. They try to keep it industry-relevant. The semester exams are not scary, to be honest.
Other: There are lots of events tech fests, cultural programs, hackathons, symposiums, and club activities like coding clubs, NSS, YRC, etc. The crowd is mostly helpful, and you will meet both serious nerds and full-time vibe people.

Promising Course with Good Infrastructure, But Needs Experienced Faculty and Better Opportunities.
Placements: In our course, approximately 60% of the students secure placements. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, while the lowest package offered through the placement cell is 3 LPA. Prominent recruiters include Zoho, JP Morgan, and Accenture. Many students independently secure internships through online and offline searches. The most commonly offered role in our course is that of a Software Developer.
Infrastructure: The college facilities are generally good. However, the opportunities for all students to utilize these facilities are average. The library is well-maintained, and the lab for our course is also good, though it lacks Wi-Fi, and the internet speed in the lab is very low, at about 500 Mbps for a single serve lab. The classrooms are good. I am not a hostel student, but I have heard that the hostels are also well-maintained, and the food in the canteen is average. Medical facilities are good, but sports and games opportunities are limited.
Faculty: In our course, the teachers are relatively new to this domain. They possess basic knowledge but lack in-depth expertise necessary for resolving complex doubts. We often rely on self-study as the provided notes are not adequate. Despite this, most teachers encourage students to gain exposure in various areas. The syllabus is well-structured, enabling us to learn the fundamentals, though some subjects are irrelevant and difficult to study due to the teacher's lack of familiarity with them. The semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage in our course is about 80%. .
Other: I chose this course because it has significant potential for the future and is a new and intriguing field of study. It would be beneficial to have well-knowledgeable teachers and better access to the facilities available in the college. Additionally, organizing various non-technical events and allowing us to participate in events at other colleges would greatly enhance our educational experience.

Decent placements, supportive teachers, but a strict college.
Placements: I'm from the IT department, 2022–2026 batch at Sairam. Placements are nice here, especially if you're consistent with your academics. Around 80–85% of students from our batch get placed. The highest package goes up to 10 LPA. Many top companies like Infosys, TCS, Zoho, Wipro, and some product-based companies also visit.
Infrastructure: The college has everything you need, from clean classrooms, computer labs, seminar halls, Wi-Fi, and a good library. IT labs are well-maintained, and we work on the latest tech during lab sessions. The hostel is safe and secure, though rules are a bit strict. The mess food is manageable, and the canteen is actually pretty decent.
Faculty: Teachers here are very supportive, especially in the IT department. Most of them are qualified and helpful, especially when it comes to project work or placements. The curriculum covers useful tech like Java, Web Development, Python, AI basics, DBMS, etc., and it is updated regularly. The semester exams are not too hard, but you need to study smart. With decent effort, passing is not an issue at all.

Sairam is a good mix of rules and results.
Placements: I’m from the B.Tech IT department at Sairam, and honestly, it’s been a pretty solid experience. Around 80-85% of students from IT get placed every year. Top companies like Zoho, TCS, CTS, Accenture, and even a few product-based ones show up. Packages range from 3.5 LPA to 10 LPA. There are also internships available—some through the college, and others through coding platforms.
Infrastructure: The college has everything you need: clean classrooms, computer labs, seminar halls, Wi-Fi, and a good library. IT labs are well-maintained, and we get to work with the latest technology during lab sessions. The hostel is safe and secure, though the rules are a bit strict. The mess food is manageable, and the canteen is actually pretty decent.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly relaxed and helpful. If you’re stuck, they’re ready to explain, especially during project time. The syllabus is okay; it covers useful topics like DBMS, Web Development, Python, AI basics, etc. They try to keep it industry-relevant. Semester exams aren’t scary, to be honest.

College for only studies, not for other activities .
Placements: I have studied mechanical engineering. In my branch, the girls are all placed but the boys have some issues to be placed. We have to push harder for placement. The highest package is 8 LPA, and the minimum they offer is 2.5 LPA. The companies came and never responded further. In my branch, only 30% students are placed.
Infrastructure: The classroom is moderate. The mechanical department has a separate building that was not even completed; they provide Wi-Fi. The labs are clean. Lab staff are disciplined; they keep the lab safe. The library is huge and has a variety of books. They maintain the library properly .
Faculty: The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. They teach well. Not all staff are good; there are a few who don't even come to classes. They provide notes and ask students to self-study. They conduct a monthly assessment; we have to pass that, and they will keep retesting too. Passing is easy in the semester exams.
Other: The auditorium is huge. They conduct audio launches and events. We can see celebrities. This college doesn't encourage extracurricular activities.
