Highly disciplined environment, but needs improvement in flexibility and administrative process.
Placements: About 70% of students got placed including off-campus. The highest package is 14 LPA, 1 student got), the lowest is 3 LPA -4 LPA, and the average is around 4 LPA-5 LPA. TCS is the only top recruiting company. Internships are offered in Zoho, CTS as of now in April 2025. Roles like GET, system engineer, and technical trainee are offered.
Infrastructure: For each year the lab facility degrades from being good pc in 1st year to okish computer in final year. Library & classroom was good. Labs not as much it can be considered as average about hostel I don't know, food quality depends from average to poor. Sports and games are not much appreciated. You have to force more on yourself to achieve something.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are actually helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Whereas some teachers are not up to the standards. Course curriculum are fundamentals only not the real world examples and it does not make students industry ready. Semester exams can be moderate and can easily get the pass percentage.

    High satisfaction from college-student ethics.
Placements: My department consists of nearly 180 to 200 students per batch, the majority of senior batch students (nearly 80% or more got placed) including exceptional cases like entrepreneurs and higher studies students. TCS is the top recruiting company for our course, including companies like Cognizant, KaarTech, Zoho, Prodapt, etc. The top roles offered in our course are software development engineer, full stack developer, analyst roles, etc. The highest package is nearly 20 LPA and the lowest package ranges nearly 4 LPA. This data is based on the previous batch. Our batch placement is yet to be in progress.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided by our college is great, we have smart TVs in each classroom with internet access and hotspots for up to 10 devices. Labs have advanced PCs for high-end processes like AR, VR, and machine learning. Library is a smart place to invoke the free time provided with high-end systems with internet access. The quality of food provided in the mess is great health-wise, as well as taste-wise. The Thursday menu of dishes is the top seller for many students. Incubation in our college introduces many developers to the industry.
Faculty: The teachers are very much equipped in their domains as well as in their efforts, faculty members have always put effort into teaching us quality content using smart TVs and their wit. The course content is invoked with hands-on lab practices and relevant content. The semester exams are challenging as well as enjoyable, the mix of one mark, two marks, and ten marks makes students learn quality content instead of mugging the big questions, yet this pattern is time challenging.
Other: I chose this course due to my high interest in computer science. The things I would wish to improve about this course is to concentrate more on CS-related subjects collaboratively (OS, this, can be followed several semesters for higher knowledge acquirement) instead of tiring school subjects like physics and maths. The major positive of our college is to reduce the distraction of students with more academic activities, which helped me a lot not to have a very low CGPA and ruin my future.

College review for the Department of AI & DS.
Placements: Many companies come for placements, but the number of students placed per company is very low. Some companies skip the AI and DS departments during the interview rounds. TCS and CTS are the mass recruiters for the college, while the average placement package is around 4-4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The mobile network is poor. The AI and DS labs are good with decent specifications, and the classrooms are just okay. There is a big library with modern infrastructure and a good collection of books. Hostel food taste and quality are decent, and the sports facilities are limited to hostellers and members of the sports team.
Faculty: Some teachers are strict and expect a lot of help from students. The teaching quality in this department is decent, and the semester examinations are quite easy to clear. The AI and DS department has a minimum pass percentage of 95%+ for each semester, but the question paper pattern has changed recently.
Other: I chose the course for placements, but the curriculum isn’t updated to recent trends. Hence, one might have to learn the latest trends on their own.

Review of Sri Sairam Engineering College review 2025.
Placements: Around 70% of students got placed in product and service-based companies. The highest package offered is 14 LPA and the lowest is 3.5 LPA with the average package being 4 LPA-5 LPA. The top recruiting companies for this course are TCS and CTS (Cognizant).
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is usually a table and the computer facility is good. The classrooms are structured with a blackboard and smart TV to facilitate both old-school teaching and new innovative ways. The hostel infrastructure is good and the canteen food is okay. Overall, I would give a 3/5 for the food, medical facility, and involvement in sports and games.
Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant to the industry. It provides the sufficient foundation required to step into the industry. The semester exams are moderate and the pass percentage is around 90%. The curriculum is well-adapted to meet the new update in the industry.

Supportive faculty, decent infrastructure, and steady placements for CSE students in 2025.
Placements: Almost 85% of students from my course myself included were placed even before last semester. The average package was 5 LPA ranging from 3 LPA to 20 LPA. Top recruiters like TCS, Infosys, CGI, Cognizant, and Google were there for their recruitment drive. Many of them started their internships even before course completion.
Infrastructure: As a CSE 2025 pass-out, our department had good labs, smart classrooms, table Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked library. Hostel rooms were decent, food was average but hygienic. Medical care was basic. Sports facilities like ground courts were available and can be used when ever needed.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful and qualified, and they had good subject knowledge. Teaching quality was decent with a mix of theory and practical. The CSE curriculum is mostly relevant, with some gaps in current tech trends. Exams are moderate and 90%-98% usually passed each semester.
Other: I chose CSE out of a passion for tech and coding. The best part was the hands-on labs, helpful faculty, and placement training. The curriculum could include more trending tech like AI/ML. We had fests like Sparkle, sports day, women's day. Good crowd, decent campus, average connectivity, and active clubs.

College for only studies, not for other activities .
Placements: I have studied mechanical engineering. In my branch, the girls are all placed but the boys have some issues to be placed. We have to push harder for placement. The highest package is 8 LPA, and the minimum they offer is 2.5 LPA. The companies came and never responded further. In my branch, only 30% students are placed.
Infrastructure: The classroom is moderate. The mechanical department has a separate building that was not even completed; they provide Wi-Fi. The labs are clean. Lab staff are disciplined; they keep the lab safe. The library is huge and has a variety of books. They maintain the library properly .
Faculty: The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. They teach well. Not all staff are good; there are a few who don't even come to classes. They provide notes and ask students to self-study. They conduct a monthly assessment; we have to pass that, and they will keep retesting too. Passing is easy in the semester exams.
Other: The auditorium is huge. They conduct audio launches and events. We can see celebrities. This college doesn't encourage extracurricular activities.
