B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027

The college has good infrastructure, helpful faculty, and placement training.
Placements: Around 80% of students from our batch got successfully placed. The highest package offered is 18 LPA, while the lowest is 3 LPA, with an average package of approximately 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Capgemini. Nearly 60% of students get internships at companies like Deloitte, Cognizant, and local startups, which often convert to full-time offers. The main roles offered are Software Developer, Business Analyst, and System Engineer.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure overall. Classrooms are spacious with projectors. Labs are well-equipped with updated systems and fast Wi-Fi. The library has a wide range of books and decent seating. Hostel facilities are average with shared rooms, but maintenance is regular. Food in the mess is hygienic, but the taste could be improved. The campus is clean and secure, with 24-hour security guards.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and supportive. Teaching quality is decent. The curriculum is updated and covers important topics, making students reasonably industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately challenging but manageable with regular study. The pass percentage is good, around 85-90%.
Other: The best part is the supportive faculty and regular placement training that help boost confidence. I wish the college would invite more core companies and improve the hostel food quality.

The college is more helpful for the students who are focused on their dreams.
Placements: 90% of students get placements in this course in our college. The highest package is 35 LPA and the lowest package is 4 LPA. The average package is 5.6 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Honda, TVS, Cognizant, etc. 70-80% of students get internships from this course in companies like ISRO, Honda, Tech Mahindra, and TVS. Top roles offered are product management, designing sector, and product manager.
Infrastructure: Facilities here are very satisfactory with the best quality. It has a CAD lab which is very useful for students who like to do design in 3D and 2D. There are many computer labs for the CSE students to do programming. There is a BEE lab for the EEE students to learn about the electric and electronics courses.
Faculty: The teaching is very useful here and very helpful. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite difficult. Mainly talking about department heads, they are very cheerful to students and they are spending much time regarding students academics. They are trying to maintain a full history of all students in the class.
Other: I am interested in robotics I chose this course. There are many things that would be better in my course.

In Sri Venkateswara College, the whole campus environment is just like heaven.
Placements: Our college provides average placements. The average salary package offered in the marketing field is 3 LPA. The placement cell keeps on sending emails of placements even after the college is over, so it is a good thing. They provide opportunities even after the completion of college.
Infrastructure: The library of this college is good and they issue books to students for free.
Faculty: Faculty members are good enough but a few of them are not well-trained. They are unable to teach students properly and handle the class and students properly. We have a simple exam pattern. There are 2 external exams every year each semester. External exams are held 6 times in 3 years according to the semester. Exams are conducted for 75 marks. Our college gives 55 marks for internal exams by assessing our performance per semester. Internal exams are conducted for 25 marks each semester. Sri Venkateswara College is most weirdest College I found. It does not provide knowledge. They just ask about the attendance. Most of the students come to the college for attendance only.

Satisfied, and life at SVCE is pretty easy and good.
Placements: Passing out batch: 2025. The highest package is 21 LPA (only one got placed), the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiter is KLA. Bulk recruiters are Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, etc. The roles offered are software engineer, data analyst, machine learning, etc.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi access inside the campus, and we need to fill a form in the 1st year of college. Classrooms and the library are well-maintained. The food at the canteen is good, but there aren't many varieties. There is also a food court where you can get food like noodles and fried rice.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in the CSE department and are also friendly. The course curriculum has been changed for junior batches, and it is good. There will be 3 CAT exams and 3 assignments for each subject in a semester. The difficulty level is moderate.
Other: A symposium will be conducted every year.

Good college to complete your engineering course.
Placements: My department has an 80% placement rate. AGS Healthcare and Biocon are core companies that hire from my course, and Wipro, Tata Consultancy, and Infosys are top recruiters for IT positions. The highest salary offered for my course is 8 LPA, the lowest is 2.5 LPA, and the average salary is 3-4 LPA. All students in my course received internships, and the companies that hired interns were Aavin, Cancer Research Center, and IIT.
Infrastructure: My college infrastructure is good. Classrooms have projectors, and the college provides full WiFi facilities. The library is very high class, with over 100,000 books. The library has its own app that lets students check out books and see when they are due. My college has very high-tech labs, especially in my department, biotechnology. The hostel rooms and campus are great, but the food is not that great. The college has a lot of sports and games, with a special emphasis on cricket.
Faculty: The faculty are highly knowledgeable and very friendly, and the teaching is superb. My teachers not only provide academic knowledge but also general knowledge and ideas for higher studies. Once a year, we have placement training. The curriculum is relevant to my course, and there are many ways for students to prepare for industry readiness, such as internships, curriculum, and mini projects. The semester question papers are easy to pass, but it is difficult to score high marks. The pass percentage is above 95%.

A great campus amidst woods with great placements and infrastructure.
Placements: Well, more than 80% of the students who sought placement have been placed. And the highest so far is 12 LPA. Some students were offered the role of team leaders and assistant scientist in R&D. In my course, many have opted for higher studies, so the students usually don’t need placements, but the other departments have had the said percentage of placements.
Infrastructure: The network seems to be a little problematic because of the high-voltage electricity cables across the campus, and we have a separate WiFi for our students. The food quality is a bit poor in the hostels, but the canteen food is great. And we have good medical facilities and a big ground for sports and games.
Faculty: They mentor us throughout the course and other activities. Yes, the curriculum is relevant, and we have frequent industrial visits, one per semester. The sem exams are quite hard for the late bloomers, but we have a pass percentage of 89% and above.
Other: Well, there are a minimum of festivals and events, but our college shows great importance in technical events and hackathons each year, conducted by various departments and clubs.
