It has very talented teachers, good transport and average placements. The fee is quite high.
Placements: According to our batch, most of the students are opting for higher studies and competitive exams, and less than 10% of the students are interested in placements. Interested students got placed, and in other departments, nearly 70% of the students got placed as trainees.
Infrastructure: Our college has the best infrastructure with good Wi-Fi facilities. Classrooms are spacious and have good ventilation and projectors. Hostel, mess food and canteen food are good at a reasonable price. The library has a good infrastructure with many books of different genres.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly talented in their respective domains, and they can even make a tough concept easily understandable. Teachers are highly qualified. Students are ready for industries, but they require some training. The course curriculum is relevant.

Our college provides great infrastructure, educational resources, average placements for civil, etc.
Placements: There are no core companies for civil coming for recruitment in our college. But many IT companies recruit students from our department. They also receive salary packages of 3.2 LPA. Most of our department students are not into IT firms. A great proportion of our class students are into higher studies both in India and abroad, government jobs like SSC UPSC, etc. Some students are into entrepreneurship. About 70% of our students have managed to participate in internships and in-plant training to improve their practical knowledge.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is well appreciated. Almost 85% of the blocks in our college are Wi-Fi enabled. The labs are equipped in modern ways and are well-performing ones. The classroom infrastructure is also good with well-designed desks, green boards, projectors with mic and speaker system for teaching purposes. The college library is very resourceful and superior with lots of books, journals. We also have a digital library with access to many national and international journal publications which are much helpful for research. The bus fees of Rs. 50,000 per year is too high and not tolerable.
Faculty: Teachers in our department are well-qualified and knowledgeable. More than 60% of our department faculty members are young and enthusiastic. The teaching quality of all our faculty members is good. Those faculty members who do not perform well also get sacked. The curriculum framed for us is admirable. Internships and in-plant training help us to meet the requirements of the industry.

This is one of the top colleges in Chennai with beautiful infrastructure.
Placements: We had good placements from our college. Lots of placement drives were conducted, and top companies gave us more aspirations to work and get placed in those dream companies. They also provided special trainings to clear the prior rounds of placements. It was definitely good with no doubt.
Infrastructure: Hostel life seems to be awesome, and the food was good. We enjoyed the hostel life to the maximum. Other facilities like hostel maintenance, security, water supply, food, snacks, etc., were good. We also had a dispensary available within the campus for emergency medical needs.
Faculty: We had good and friendly faculty, so we enjoyed our college life. We had modern technology for teaching using presentations etc. Periodic term exams were conducted to make our learning process easy, and the faculty helped us in all the possible ways they can.

Overall, SVCE is value for money.
Placements: About 84% of the students got placed from the 2018 batch. Few students got jobs immediately, but a few students got it after 1-2 months. Companies like Go Speedy Go, Wipro, Amazon, Microland, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, etc., visited here for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are spacious with ample seating arrangements, which makes it perfect for daily activities. Classrooms are equipped with a projector and a screen for AV classes. The library has a good number of books, but our college should just expand the area for study and also ventilation. However, the rest of the facilities like sports, medical and canteen are awesome.
Faculty: The faculty members are awesome. They have adapted various learning tools which enable us to learn on our own, which makes the learning process very smooth. Teachers help us to manufacture the products of better use for the future, and new labs have been set up for the same.
Other: Our college is good, and the facilities are better now. It is good in terms of discipline, and if you want to get more percentage, then join this college.

Very satisfied with the infrastructure and teaching. The only drawback was the canteen and food.
Placements: 1. 30 percent of students have been placed in my course and civil based companies won't be available for placements.
2. Salary 15k to 40k offered.
3. Saint Gobain and other companies came for recruitment.
4. Site Engineer and interior designing were the roles offered.
5. 2 Lacs per Annual to 3.5 Lacs per annual was the package.
6. 2 students got internship in TCS.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. All types of labs are available and in working condition with best equipments
Library and Wi-Fi is also available, Wi-Fi is paid.
2. Hostel facility is good. Canteen and mess is fine
Medical facilities are good.
Sports and games are very good.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable and they were quite helpful. The teaching quality was excellent. There are well-qualified teacher in every subject.
2. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant and it does make the students industry ready but not in every way.
