All about SVCE Sriperumbudur.
Placements: ECE in SVCE is one of the reputed courses. With good faculty members and a new curriculum and syllabus. Talking about placement last year nearly 110 people opted for placements and more than 100 people got placed with the highest of 15 LPA or maybe above and a minimum of 3 LPA. Talking about core companies MicroChip and Dell are some companies that visit other than KLA technologies etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are above average with decent infrastructure and we have projectors in all the classrooms. The library has a vast collection of books on 2 floors and Has AC in the reading hall, hostel food is mostly disliked by everyone. It is really worse other than that the hostel rooms are quite decent. And good sanitation places too. With proper cleaning. Students get 4 to 5 outpasses per month.
Faculty: Faculty members are chill, supportive, and helpful. Teaching quality is decent up to a mark. Maybe some faculty members can improve rest all good from their path. For 1st years the course is similar to what they have studied in high schools. Slowly they introduce core subjects which are up to new day technology Semester exams are moderate. If we study well and do well in internal exams then we can easily pass sem exams.
Other: The reason behind my choosing ECE was because of my interest in this field and to gain knowledge on a deeper level as well nowadays electronic industries are booming so better scope in the future Maybe more practical classes should be there than theory classes this is what I believe should be changed. The campus is nearly 100 acre. With an annual fest happening in the name highway which will be fun for students apart from this, we have several clubs handled by students who manage a few extra events throughout the year.

Good infrastructure but poor hostel facilities; average placement but friendly campus .
Placements: The placement at SVCE, Sriperumbudur, is quite good compared to other colleges in Chennai because of the branding of SVCE. Every year, almost all the students get placed but due to the global recession, in 2023 and 2024, there are students who are yet to be placed. The highest package stands at 26 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. The average package offered will stand at 4 LPA in 2023. Internships are offered to outstanding students only and average students are supposed to find them themselves. Cognizant is the leading recruiter.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in SVCE is one of the best in the state. Almost all labs are well-equipped but some can be quite old and lack new equipment. If you compare them with other colleges, then SVCE labs are quite good. The hostel might be the worst part, as the food, the quality of the rooms, and the and the hygiene are below average. Since non-vegetarian foods aren't allowed, the fee they charge for hostels is too high for vegetarian food with poor quality and taste, along with old rooms and beds. There is a medical center where first aid and resting beds are available, which is a good thing and an ambulance will be available for transportation to the local hospital. Sports are well encouraged in SVCE, especially cricket. The ground is well maintained and we have a state-level team that has won several trophies.
Faculty: Since old facilities have retired or resigned, the quality of faculty members has degraded over the last few years. Still, there are enough experience facilities but it used to have more and more good facilities. The student-teacher ratio is around 20:1 (1 faculty will be in charge of 20 students). There are enough facilities at the college. The curriculum is updated and good compared to the Anna University curriculum but it needs a lot of improvement to meet international standards. It makes industry ready only to an extent but we have to learn so many things ourselves, as there are a lot of things they don't teach. The semester exams will have a weight of 60% and the remaining 40% will be calculated from internal exams, which include 3 informative assessment tests and assignments. The pass percentage averages around 65%.
Other: I chose this course because of the wide opportunities in the software and hardware fields. It allows you to learn programming as well as electronics. The method of testing students should be changed as cheating prevails. Lots and lots of events are conducted, as that is what SVCE is known for. The campus is not so crowded as it spans over 100 acres, but we have to have a little to reach the bus bay to the classrooms, canteen and department. Lots of scholarships are offered to deserving students and extracurricular activities like clubs are available, which enhance social skills.

A good college with very good placement records .
Placements: More than 96 percent of the students are placed in the top most companlike Zoho, Cognizent, HCL, TCS, and many more very well reputed companies have visited the college and recruited many of the students in many top roles like executive manager, product analyst, Head recruiter and many more .
Infrastructure: Infrastructures are very tolerable but not so bad hostel food is not up to the mark and very poor in their services NON VEGETARIAN FOODS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE CAMPUS AND ARE NOT SOLD INSIDE. Laboratories have a decent setup and a managable Wi-Fi setup for which they charge 500.
Faculty: Faculty members in this college are very much experienced like all most 20 years on an average and they have a unique style of teaching students can expect a friendly atmosphere in the class and all over the college and the curriculum was not so relevant but as u progress the curriculum caught up so well and the pass percent is 40 .

This college is very good.
Placements: About 90% of students are surely placed in a year. The highest salary package offered to a student is 2 LPA. Students are placed in the top recruiting companies like TCS, CTS, and Cognizant. The students are offered the highest positions in our college.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good Wi-Fi facility, well-furnished classrooms, and the best library in Chennai. The college is good at sports and games. There is a huge ground to play. There are also well-furnished hostels with the best food and good taste. It has a lovely atmosphere on campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very kind in our college. They are always ready to help and to guide for exams. This course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are very easy to attend as teachers guide during the exams.
Other: I chose this course because I found something interesting in this course.

It provides excellent infrastructure and placements if students do not consider the fee.
Placements: Placements are excellent in this college. Students can expects more offers in the placements. They also provide placements training but with fee, overall good placements. The final year students only 4 is left for placements, students need to be in a good CGPA and grade to get good placements, they also offer other ways like studying PG abroad or competitive exams or entrepreneurship. The students can also get financial support for their projects.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. It provides fully technical laboratories. Wi-Fi availability all over the campus and in hostel is good. The food is better than another college mess. But non-vegetarian is not allowed. They give equal importance to extra curricular activities. Regular sports events are held. Students can enjoy culturals often, and it will be very joyful. They conduct inter-college culturals also.
Faculty: This college provides good teaching and easily understandable. They can easily solve students' doubts. Monthly there will be a CAT exam for internal mark. Laboratories sessions are easy. They prepare notes to study for the CAT exams and semester exams it is very easily to study. The faculty members are very friendly. Mobiles are allowed in this college but not during the classes if they find students they will take the mobile and students can get it after the classes.
Other: I came through the counselling and this college is good overall except the fee. The fee structure is very high. For management students its even higher. If students prefer coming to college by local bus then they can get an exemption from paying the college transport fee, but it is not easy only if students show with proof. Food deliveries are not allowed. But deliveries like Amazon, Flipkart, and Big Basket are allowed though. Hostel is not strict.

I'm satisfied with everything provided in our college.
Placements: More than 90% of students are placed. There are many companies that come to our college for requirements. We are well trained by our college for the placement exams like MCQ and interviews from the first year itself, and that is a significant feature of this college.
Infrastructure: I'm satisfied with the infrastructure and food available in our college. The hostel environment is hostile and good. The food is completely vegetarian. We are provided with student Wi-Fi, which allows us only to use Google and things that are related to studying. The library is really vast and contains many books.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are sincere, and the tests are held at regular intervals. You can ask your questions and be friendly with them. Semester exams are taken care of by the college management in a serious manner. The pass percentage of our college is more than eighty. Our course curriculum is relevant.

Our college has good infrastructure and good facilities.
Placements: Assurance was given that 100% of students will get a place in good companies. The highest salary given is Rs.300000 per month and the lowest salary given is Rs.70,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs.1,00,000 per month. The top recruiting companies are Qualcomm and Google.
Infrastructure: All infrastructure is good in our college. The Wi-Fi facility is good. There is a huge library in our college. Classroom facilities are good. The food served in the canteen is nice but the food provided in the hostel mess is not worth for money. There are good facilities for sports like a ground and a huge swimming pool.
Faculty: All staff members in our college are good and friendly. Teaching is very excellent. Regular tests are conducted which are very useful during end semester examination. Placement training is conducted from the first year. Semester exams are not so difficult. Industry-oriented education is provided to us.
Other: Highways is a cultural event conducted in our college. It is the best event I have visited.

A good campus life in our college.
Placements: In our college, about 99% of students got placed. Our college is very good at placements. The average salary package offered in our college is 3 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 18 LPA. There are more than 192 companies visiting our college every year.
Infrastructure: The hostel and environment in our college are good but the food served in the hostel mess is little bit average. Facilities in our hostel are bit old and not maintained but medical facilities and sports facilities are good. College Wi-Fi is very good. Our library is the most iconic place in our college.
Faculty: Our industry-ready curriculum is helpful for us to get placed. Our faculty members are experienced with more than 10 years and are very friendly to the students. The teaching quality and classroom environment are very good.
Other: Our college events and cultural activities are amazing and our management gives full support to students to succeed in life. As the college is situated out of the city, there is less pollution in our college.
