A good college with friendly staff feels like a school and offers good placement training.
Placements: Almost 80% of students get placed in companies offering packages ranging from 3.5 LPA to 7.5 LPA. The training program conducted by the college with QSpiders from Karnataka is very useful during placements. All the required placement skills classes are taken by teachers.
Infrastructure: The food in the mess is good, the hostel now has free Wi-Fi, and labs are in good condition. The library has all the books needed for students. The mess is kept clean, and the campus is cleaned multiple times a week. The hostel rooms are cleaned daily.
Faculty: The staff is friendly and covers all topics, clearing any doubts asked by students. There are clubs for robotics, AIML, etc., which students can join, and it has advantages like special workshops that list club members. The pass percentage is 50% in all tests, internals, and semesters.
Other: There will only be a minimal farewell, and multiple events like conferences and workshops will be happening all the time.

Review of Panimalar Engineering College.
Placements: Placements were good. The percentage of students placed each year was around 80-85%. Many IT companies and a few core companies hired students during the placement. Placement drives were conducted in the 6th semester. The top roles offered were GET and MT.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was very good. Classrooms, library, mess, etc., were well-maintained. The hostel was also excellent. Rooms were very spacious, and the playground and recreation hall everything was good. The food was very tasty. There was no Wi-Fi facility inside the campus.
Faculty: Teachers and staff were very nice to students. The course curriculum was good and made students industry-ready. Teachers were well-qualified, and their teaching was also good. The semester exams were based on the performance of students.

Panimalar engineering college review .
Placements: I completed my mechanical engineering in 2022. A small percentage of students were only placed in the campus interview. The highest package may be 4 Lacs per year, and the lowest is 2 Lacs per year. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, Wipro, and HCl are all coming for placement.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is really good when compared to other college. Because will have proper libraries, high-tech lab facilities, a video-audio class room, etc. The hostel facilities is really amazing. The college will also provide foods for the both-day scholar and hostel students. The college does not support sports like other colleges.
Faculty: The college teachers are well qualified and trained staff. All the teachers have completed their Ph.D. also. The teaching quality is also very nice; they will clarify the students doubts any time at any place for n number of times until the students get clarified.
Other: The college is very safe for the students, especially for women. Because there is ragging in the college.

A short review of my college.
Placements: Our college provides better placement opportunities for students. The basic salary package is around 2.4 LPA and the highest salary package is around 8 LPA. Core recruiters are Sobha Develops, Brigade, Raunaq Foundation, and Ashiana Housing Ltd.
Infrastructure: The college campus is very peaceful. The hostel and mess facilities are excellent in this college. The hostel has a 24/7 electricity supply and water supply. Classrooms, laboratories, library, etc., are well-maintained. The mess food is very tasty and has varieties.
Faculty: Staff of all departments is well-qualified in their fields and they help in the upliftment of the students career. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry. The semester exams difficulties are moderate. The pass percentage is around 50% in all papers.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Around 70% of students got placed in our batch. The highest package was 12 LPA, and the lowest package was 3 LPA. The average package was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Accenture, Zoho, TCS, CTS, etc. Roles offered were software developer, testing, and technical support engineer.
Infrastructure: All computer labs were fully air-conditioned and contained a lot of high-end computers with high-speed internet connectivity for learning and training purposes. Classrooms were very good and contained many fans, white boards, and projectors that will be used for taking a class when needed. Libraries were also there with fully air-conditioned and had many computers with internet facilities and a wide variety of collections of books i.e., more than 10,000 books. Food was compulsory for day scholars and hostellers also. Food quality was good and tasty. Medical facilities were there for emergency situations. Sports facilities were less only.
Faculty: All the staffs were well qualified. Most of the staffs were Ph.D. graduates only. The teaching style of staffs will be good. Courses were not completely industrial standards, but somewhat high standards. Semester exams were easy to medium and pass percentage was mostly more than 90%.
Other: I chose engineering in computer science because I prefer to go to an IT job. Courses could be more industry standards. Events are conducted less frequently. Sports facilities could also be improved.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the rules of the college.
Placements: As I am yet to attend placements I don't know about it correctly but I heard that around 160 members got placed in Infosys this year for a salary of 3.6lpa and around 20 got placed for 6.5lpa which I think is good when compared to the numbers that got placed in previous years.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is so good and it has a big space. We also have a big auditorium (very big) where easily around 1000 can be seated comfortable. Classrooms have projectors. Labs have good computers with good a speed Wi-Fi where there will be members to correct it even if any system has any issues. There is no canteen in the college. So we are supposed to eat in mess only and we aren't allowed to bring food from home also except special cases. The mess food is moderate some times good and sometimes found with insects.
Faculty: The faculty members are talented and very knowledgeable and also helpful and from second year every 20 members will get assigned to a mentor. So they will help you in every possible way. The course is good and last year also we went to a company for IV. The semester exams aren't very difficult. It's very easy to pass more than 90% will get passed.
Other: The campus life is very poor because still phones aren't official allowed to college and they snatch away the phones even if we use them in snacks break and it's not a co-ed college as girls and boys are fully separate and aren't even allowed to talk with each other. We don't have any fests and events to be happy. There is no extra curricular activities rarely the youth red cross club conducts some rallies.

Grievances Redressal option is available till Jun 30 (4 PM). Further, the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) Tamil Nadu released TNEA counselling dates and details. Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling registrations are ongoing, whereas the general TNEA Counselling process will start on Jul 7. TNEA 2023 counselling process includes registration, assignment of random numbers, certificate verifications, rank list publication, and finally the counselling. The counselling rounds will include steps like Choice Filling, Allotment, Confirmation of Allotment, and Reporting to the College/ TFC and payment of fees depending upon their confirmation.

Panimalar Engineering College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
CoursesEligibility
B.E. / B.TechCandidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile. Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.
MBA/PGDMCandidate who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE are also eligible. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field.
