College life - could have been better.
Placements: 30% of the students were placed in my course. The highest package offered was 3.6 lacs pa and the lowest must be 2laca pa. The top recruiting companies were EY, KPMG and Amazon. Almost 10% got internship from my course. The top roles offered in my course were Audit assistant, audit associate, assurance executive.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure needs to be improved. The library is good with tons of books of different genres. Labs are pretty decent. The hostel facility needs to improve a lot. There have been quite a few complaints from the college hostel. The canteen has good food for cheaper rates but it needs to be more hygienic. The games room has various sports equipments but again they need to be replaced with new ones.
Faculty: The teachers are good at their job when it comes to normal subjects. But their skills fall short in the case of teaching professional papers. The course curriculum is relevant but I think students need more of practical experience to make them industry ready. The difficult level of the semester exams is average. The pass rates dropped because of online classes during covid.
