College is providing the best placement opportunities to its students.

Placements: Our college has been providing very good placement opportunities to its students. Around 45-50% of students get placements in our college. The highest placement package offered was 13 LPA. The lowest package offered was 3 LPA. The average package offered was 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure in our college was well-maintained and fully developed. College was providing all the facilities to its students. College has high-speed Wi-Fi, hostel, canteen, labs, library, etc. Hostel facility was available in our college. Sports facilities were also available at our college.

Faculty: Faculty of our college was helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. All the teachers were doing their best for the students. Teachers were helping us in placements and internships. Course curriculum followed in the college was relevant. It makes the students job-ready.

Our college provides good facilities.

Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed in this course. The minimum salary package offered was 4 LPA. The maximum salary package offered ranges between 13 LPA - 14 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our campus surroundings were very good. There was a garden where we could relax with our friends. Hostels were very good. Canteen was available in this college.

Faculty: Faculty members were very good. They were very professional and experienced. The non-teaching staff was supportive. Semester exams were moderate.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. The course was relevant to the current status of the industry. Events and fests were excellent in this college.

The best Management Institute- SFIMAR.

Placements: The placements in our college are taken very seriously. Around 100% of the students were placed in the last batch. The highest salary offered was Rs. 8.5 LPA and the lowest was Rs. 3.4 LPA. Companies like Globe Op and Black Rock visited the college. Also, we get a good internship offers along with some live projects in MNCs, throughout the year.

Infrastructure: SFIMAR has an integrated internet facilitated computer labs, and all the lectures are taken via ppts, reducing the paper wastage. The canteen food is also pretty good, and the hostel rooms are maintained feasible. We don't have any ragging tradition, and the juniors are treated like the younger siblings in the college.

Faculty: The faculty at SFIMAR are the best group of mentors you can get. They don't just take lectures, but nurture and motivate you to look beyond your limitations. They help you work on your overall personality, guiding and counselling throughout your time in SFIMAR. There are mentors for each student, i.e., 5-6 students per teacher. Some of them are also from IIMs.

This is a better place to start your journey.

Placements: The college provides good placements. The average package is around Rs. 4 lakhs to Rs. 5 lakhs per annum. A good part is that CMC keeps an eye on every student to get some better placements. Almost 40 to 50 companies come every year for various profiles. Different types of training are given to the students so that they can help further to get the placement.

Infrastructure: SFIMAR has a really good infrastructure compared to the other colleges in Mumbai. The classrooms are comfortable and are fully air-conditioned. The library is air-conditioned, very peaceful and various types of books are available as well. There is enough space for the students to study. There is a computer lab with access to the internet as well.

Faculty: The faculty are awesome. They are very intellectual and helpful. One of the best things is that all of them have a lot of experience. They share their experiences with the students. The course curriculum is very well designed. It focuses on enhancing the skills and personality of the students. Various programs and guest lectures are arranged for the students.

Other: FIMAR conducts lots of events throughout the year and gives opportunities to the students to participate and coordinate. The international industrial visits and domestic industrial visits are one of the best opportunities to gain knowledge and enjoyment. Almost every event gives some experience to us.

I recommend this college for those who want an average college yet a disciplined one.

Placements: There are almost 100% placements but no guarantee of getting a good company or a good profile because it totally depends on the student's knowledge and talent. Our senior batch also had 100% placements except for those who did not want to do a job. The internships also are 100%.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average because the campus is too small but the facilities provided are very good. There is a good canteen, AC-equipped classrooms, a chess court, a boys common room/girls common room, a small garden, a parking area, practical rooms, labs, PPTs, a badminton court etc.

Faculty: Some faculty members are really helpful and focus on practical knowledge. Current affairs, group discussions on every Saturday, creative ideas and events, social clubs etc are also organised.

Other: It got an 'A' grade from NAAC the year we completed our MBA. It is a very disciplined college with a proper formal uniform provided by the college. Two uniforms: white shirt and trousers with a blazer for presentations and a blue shirt with trousers for regular lectures.

Other: The PGDM course structure was very good. The faculty was good. It didn’t provide good summer internship as well as final placement. The profile offered was not so good for Finance student. The package was average. Overall, it was good. The learning was good and it offered industry oriented syllabus. All the external faculty was very good, especially, the finance faculty. The placements could have been much better.

Any student can get placed in recruitment drives after completing the PGDM course (if placements exist in their institution). Other than that, the PGDM syllabus and subjects prepare and train the students for various job opportunities in both the private and government sectors
