Supportive faculty, good labs, and campus, but limited placements and mostly off-campus internships.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and approachable. They are always ready to clarify doubts and support students academically. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable in their respective subjects, and the overall teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is updated and aligned with academic standards, though it only partially prepares students for the industry. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, requiring consistent effort to pass. The approximate pass percentage is around 40%, indicat...

The best college from my experience.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, and they are great doctors with perfect knowledge. The teaching methods of those teachers are perfect, and they teach with a smile and greet welcome towards our studies and problems that come to us. MCA branch especially is still adamant about following the concept of traditional learning. It's like 60+40, where 40 marks are for internals and 60 marks are for external. We write for 100 marks in external and it is converted to 60 marks. Preparatory exams are co...

It is good for teaching and non-teaching. I had great memories and great friends.

Faculty: Additionally, industrial visits are organised to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. SJEC's autonomous status, conferred by the University Grants Commission (UGC) during the academic year 2020-21 and by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) in 2021-22, allows the institution to conduct its own examinations and evaluation. This autonomy facilitates the adoption of innovative teaching-learning methods and the formulation of an industry-specific curriculum. The...

Review of St. Joseph's Engineering College.

Faculty: All teachers here are very educated and experienced, and they are very friendly, except for a few. The course helps us become industry-ready, and the syllabus is a bit difficult, but I think we can manage if we put in hard work and take the help of the teachers. The passing mark is 35 out of 100.

Really impressed with campus and faculty.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and very approachable. They explain topics properly and are always open to questions and discussions. The exams are also pretty good. They give us question banks for reference to study for the exams. Internals are continuous, and semester exams have a day's gap.

The campus is very beautiful.

Faculty: Yes, the student-to-teacher ratio in this college is great; there are many faculty members in departments for different subjects. Teachers are well qualified, no doubt about that. Students can approach teachers if we have any doubt. I was always able to interact with the teachers. The teaching way of the faculty is also great. They use good presentation so that we understand and no doubts remain unclear.

The campus is a ragging-free campus. Any act of ragging will be taken seriously.

Campus life is just really enjoyable.

Faculty: Lecturers are highly qualified and provide a good environment for CSE students. While teaching, they give practical examples to help students understand the subject well. Semester exams are quite good. Since our college is autonomous, it prepares its own question papers.

It's all I know about the college. I hope it helps.

Faculty: Teaching quality is really good. Lecturers are cooperative with the students. The course curriculum is relevant. The pass percentage is 85%. I'm through the management quota so the fees will vary. The third and fourth semesters are tough enough to pass. Rest can be easy.

Absolutely satisfied with the college campus.

Faculty: All the teachers are helpful and qualified. Some teachers even assisted me during tough times. They are friendly, and the course curriculum is relevant, making students industry-ready. Normally, electronics and communication engineering exams are a little tougher, and here it is the same, with a pass percentage of 40.

Review of St. Joseph Engineering College .

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified; 90+ percent of teachers either hold a Ph.D. or are pursuing the same currently. Since the college is autonomous, there is flexibility in the curriculum that helps us to meet the market requirements. Exams are based on the syllabus, and the difficult is intermediate. Pass percentage is above 90 percent in all subjects.

Best college with best hostel compared to any college in Bangalore.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified; they teach well. These teachers are well qualified and some of the teachers also have patents. Since the college is autonomous, the courses are placement-ready, and the syllabus is prepared by the college itself. The semester exams are easy, so don't worry about them.

Engineering excellence at St. Joseph Engineering College.

Faculty: The semester exams are pretty easy. But the internals are hard to cope with as we have to write two exams in a day for a stretch of three days. This makes it hard for the students to study one subject with full concentration and finish the syllabus. The syllabus is efficient and relevant for the course.

Best facilities are provided by the college.

Faculty: I chose this course because placement is good for the MCA course at this college, the average package is about 10 Lacs/year and the placement ratio is also good at this college. Faculty-student ratio is 1:7. Almost all the faculty members are Ph.D. holders and all teachers are good in their subjects and complete their courses on the scheduled time in the course curriculum. All the exams in my college get scheduled at the proper time and the examination pattern and question level in the exams are...
