Impressive placements and facilities, but the curriculum lacks industry focus.
Placements: Some of the top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, and a few startups like Zoho and Freshworks. Internships were also offered to about 60% of the students, mostly through the placement cell and online training platform. Some companies that offered internships include Gradious, AICTE Internships, and Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors. The top roles offered were data analyst, software developer, AI/ML intern, system engineer, and business analyst.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and well-maintained. Labs are provided with a good PC and a built-in platform to practice. The lab is also air-conditioned. Classrooms are also neatly maintained. Classrooms are spacious, and we are also given a projector. The department lacks a good internet Connection.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and approachable, but the teaching style is mostly theoretical and lacks hands-on industrial exposure. Some teachers are experienced and knowledgeable, while others rely too much on PowerPoint slides. The curriculum covers core concepts of artificial intelligence and data science, but a few subjects feel outdated and need revision to match current industry demands. Exams are moderate in difficulty, and the questions are mostly from the syllabus. The pass percentage is usually high, around 85- 90%, but scoring distinction requires consistent preparation. Overall, the curriculum could be more practical and job-oriented.

Review of St. Joseph's Institute of Technology.
Placements: The placement and job opportunities are good. Students have been selected by many prestigious companies. There is a placement committee comprising both students and faculty members to provide the best facilities to students. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Amazon, Flipkart, and others visit to offer job opportunities. After the fourth semester, every student is required to complete an internship of at least 6 weeks. The college facilitates internships for students. The highest CTC offered is 12 LPA, with an average package of 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The curriculum is very dynamic because the college is autonomous and can adapt its teachings to current needs. They follow a trimester system, with each trimester covering about 6-7 subjects. The hostel facilities are quite good, and food depends on the vendors preparing it, but generally, it is edible. There is a college canteen, and many delicious eateries are just a 5-minute walk away. The hostel rooms are large and spacious, cleaned daily, and students share the washrooms.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and professional. They are supportive in all activities and project work. Some teachers have graduated from IITs and other reputed institutions. They are very supportive academically and dedicated. Guest lectures from various colleges are also conducted. The faculty is interactive and friendly, often offering extra classes during exams. Final exams account for 70% of the final grade. The exam system is semester-based, with two semesters each year, totaling four semesters.

The overall course experience includes placements, infrastructure, and campus life.
Placements: In our course, 60% of students get placed. The highest package offered is 47 LPA, while the lowest is 4 LPA. Infosys is one of the top recruiters. Around 40% of students secure internships in various companies. Top roles include Software Engineer, Data Analyst, and System Analyst.
Infrastructure: The department has libraries, but students rarely use them during lunch and tea breaks. Wi-Fi is available but with poor signal strength. First-year students get quality food, but for others, the quality is poor. Medical facilities are decent. Students can play sports only once a year.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful in many ways, while others tend to motivate students. Teachers are highly qualified. The course curriculum is relevant and helps make students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite difficult, but the pass percentage remains 70% and above.
Other: I joined this college through TNEA. Unfortunately, there is nothing particularly great about the course. The quality of labs needs significant improvement. The campus infrastructure exists for show and is not genuinely accessible to students. Events are conducted, but only for a select group of students, limiting opportunities for others.

College Review-a good to go one.
Placements: The placement is quite good. There is a separate and dedicated cell for placements that is responsible for conducting placement preparation workshops to improve coding, technical skills, and communication. The average package is around 4 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: There is a huge library with over 2000 books from all genres, including references for competitive exams and technical books. The classroom is a separate block for 1st-year and other-year students. There is free Wi-Fi for hostel students with gym, medical, and proper canteen facilities.
Faculty: The faculty is very friendly and ready to help you at all times. The institution follows an autonomous curriculum that completely focuses on equipping skills to sustain in the industry. For every semester, 3 model exams are conducted along with co-curricular activities, with marks to be considered for internal marks.
Other: It is a green and Trinity campus. There are various sports opportunities and extracurricular activities conducted to encourage students and faculty. I chose Computer Science since I was keen on mathematics, and the food here is great with a balanced meal. There are various scholarships provided to students as a part of rewards every year.

The total college fee is between 2,75,000 to 3,65,000.
Placements: Approximately 75% of IT and CSE course students were placed in companies. The lowest package is 3 lakh per annum, the average package is 7 lakh per annum, and the highest package is 18 lakh per annum. Avasoft, TCS, and Accenture are the companies that recruit our students the most. No internships are provided by our college; only interested students seek opportunities outside. Web development and data science are the top roles offered at our college.
Infrastructure: All facilities are kind and good, with our department, classrooms, library, and labs meeting basic needs. The Wi-Fi in the hostel is not too good, but it's fine for the labs. The college is known for its food and placements. Additionally, discipline and other amenities like the canteen and medical facilities are basic; for other needs, we usually have to buy outside. Sports mainly focus on football, basketball, kabaddi, hockey, and ball badminton, as these games have more grounds in our college.
Faculty: Not all staff are great, but most are knowledgeable and have excellent teaching quality. Our college staff mostly align with relevant courses, and only a few help students with future placements. Semesters are sometimes easy and sometimes hard, depending on the paper, with a pass percentage of 45%.
Other: I chose ADS because of my brother, and I've learned a lot about new things. There’s nothing to improve; events and other activities are not impressive but are acceptable.

The college is strict and will have decent placements.
Placements: The placement in this college is not great but good. In current final year, till now the highest package is 27 LPA, and note that only very very few can land there. The lowest package is 80 KPA. So it's purely based on how you make yourself prepared for interviews. The average salary will be like 5-6 LPA. The top recruiters are JUSTPAY, FEDERAL BANK, TCS, ZOHO, and AVASOFT.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and pleasant. They provide Wi-Fi in labs, hostels, ideas, and innovation centers. The library is good and has a decent number of books. You can borrow books from the library for the semester exam preparation using a Bookbank card. One of the pros of this college is MESS. You will have to pay likely Rs. 1 lakh for food and transport. You can't avoid this fee. Whether you are a hostler or a scholar, you have to pay this. But will enjoy the good food. The sports are only for students who entered college by sports quota.
Faculty: The faculties are average. They will tell you what to do. But few teachers are very good at concept explanations. The course curriculum is mostly relevant and makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are not too tough. You can easily get a 7.5 plus CGPA.
Other: Don't expect fests and events in this college.
