"Once a josephite always a josephite".
Placements: My course is B.Com and we're the first batch of university joining in 2022 and passing out in 2025. About 75% of students get placed this year for Delloite, EY, etc. The highest package varies as companies from different fields come in the highest was 12 LPA from what I heard from the faculty members.
Infrastructure: Facilities are available, Wi-Fi works well, and labs are open always during college hours. Classrooms are vast and spacious with good ventilation and the library is accessible to everyone who has a college ID. The college canteen has good food and value for money.
Faculty: Most faculty members are friendly only some are rude. All the teachers are helpful and qualified and everyone has knowledge on the subject they teach and everyone has their style and way of teaching. The course is updated every year, and they teach how the real industry works and make our industry ready, sem exams aren't so tough as it's broken down into 2 parts internals (sem + 2 CIA and one end sem. You just need 40 to pass so it's no big deal.
Other: B.Com offers a variety of options to choose from once u complete your degree so I chose this and best thing would be I have access to marketing electives too, so I have more exposure in my field of interest. Maybe they could offer more electives subjects for us to choose and study from in the beginning sem itself. Events, fests, and everything else are a last and u get meaningful friendships too during the fests and extracurricular activities are a must in my college.

Academic knowledge as well as fun.
Placements: 95% of students got placed from this course. The highest offer is 24 LPA Dshaw is one of the top recruiting companies. Around 600 students of commerce got placed the previous year with good LPAs also it is the wish of students to sit for placements or not.
Infrastructure: Full-speed Wi-Fi is available in all classrooms. Library is as big as a floor including previous year's question papers, digital library as well as novels. Classrooms are spacious and canteen is as big as a floor having all varieties. Hostel provided by college is neat and clean.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly knowledgeable and are very qualified in their teaching subject. The course makes students industry-ready as we have subjects to develop soft skills like spreadsheet classes to learn how to use Excel and corporate etiquette to teach us presentation skills.
Other: The best things about the course are not only the academic syllabus but also the development of soft skills are focused. Motto of our college is academic excellence, social concern so not only academically but socially also we are prepared. Fests, cultural activities, and sports are equally given importance like studies.

The campus and college life are good and the placements are good too.
Placements: Currently, I am in 2nd year degree most of the B.Com students got internships. They got opportunity to work with EY. The salary package is great. Around 70% of students get placements and internships. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, EY, and Infosys.
Infrastructure: The campus is quite big enough. Infrastructure and classrooms are pretty great, and the quality is great.
Faculty: It depends on the lectures. Except for a very few lectures, the others help us with the subjects. Semester exams and the practicals are pretty difficult. But the courses they offer apart from the subjects are very helpful for us to learn a skill. Teachers make the classrooms very interactive and interesting.
Other: If students want a cultural life its a go-to choice. A lot of fests are conducted in commerce, arts, and science departments. There is a lot of entertainment.

St Joseph's University is excellent.
Placements: I don't have much idea about placement because I'm still in my first year, but then placement at our college has been a good placement. So many top companies come to our college but I don't know their names because I am a fresher here. So basically students with 7+ CGPA get placed.
Infrastructure: The faculty are great over here. They provide us with the latest updates on the subject with real-life examples, which makes us learn easily. The food in the canteen is good, we get many options to eat, and all the food tastes good. We have got good sports facilities where the practice of sports takes place daily.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, but few assistant professors are in their training period, so they don't teach up to the mark. Semester exam papers are a bit tough because they don't give us full marks until the answer is accurate, and the passing mark for each subject is 40.
Other: I prefer this course because it has a wide scope compared to other courses, and it's an easy course which makes us complete other professional courses with this degree also.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2015, & really good infrastructure.
Placements: SJU has good placements for freshers. Many top companies like EY, Accenture, Infosys, Deloitte, etc., bring in opportunities for freshers. The highest package offered for freshers is 5.5 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA for freshers. There are various roles offered, like HR manager, finance manager, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. It is a 125-year-old institution which provides hostel facilities, food mess, stationery, a cafeteria, a library, labs, digital libraries, and digital classrooms. The cafeteria is well-maintained, and the hygiene is good.
Faculty: The teachers are very approachable and available for any queries and for helping the students to achieve their goals throughout the academic year. The non-teaching staff is quite good and well-mannered. The industry-related courses are very helpful.

St. Joseph’s University review.
Placements: Nearly 40% of students are placed. The top recruiting companies are EY, PWC, Deloitte, Accenture, and Ditto. The college does not provide internships, so we have to find our own. The top roles offered by our course are finance accountant, sales, and marketing.
Infrastructure: Our college provides a digital library, wifi, canteen, and laboratories. We also have many fests, including inter and intra-college sports days. If you win in a sport or are first in a competition, you get credits and free attendance for that hour. The college also has medical facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly and supportive. They emphasize practical experience by encouraging students to come up with business ideas and present them. This helps prepare students for the industry. The semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is above 80%.
Other: I chose this course because I like accounts. The college offers a variety of events, including Pratibha Visages Tharang, Onam Celebration, and Intzar College Fest. The college campus is plastic-free, and they provide management scholarships every semester.

My Review gives a good view.
Placements: 1. 40 2. The highest package: 21 LPA the lowest package, 2.5 LPA Average package: 4 LPA 3. Deshaw, KPMG, 4. internship was completely dependent on our choice; we needed to find it. There is one compulsory internship which needs to be completed at the end of 4th semester 5. Job roles offered are Accountant, marketing specialist, Associate or Executive, and analyst.
Infrastructure: 1. We do have internet facilities; the classroom infrastructure is really amazing. We have projectors to make the learning easy. The library has thousands of books that use facts as a guiding tool, and books are available throughout the year. 2. Medical and sports facilities are really amazing. There are many sports activities conducted throughout the year. There is a hostel facility on campus.
Faculty: 1. Teaching faculty members are really well qualified and very friendly. We can reach out to them at any time. 2. Not completely, but to some extent, it does help us. 3. Semester exams are conducted with respect to our syllabus and what we have studied. The passing percentage is almost 80 to 90%. .
Other: 1. I chose this course because I was more interested in accounts and finance. I got an opportunity to explore and learn new things in accounting and finance. 2. I feel something related to industry should be added as part of our curriculum. 3. They do provide scholarships based on academic excellence, financial backwardness, cultural achievements, and sports achievements. There is huge support for the sports students, and there are lots of facilities provided to them. There are almost 9,000 students on campus. There are interclass and intra-collegiate festivals conducted.

I highly recommend this college.
Placements: Placements at St. Joseph's University for B.Com. are average; few insurance companies, banks, and other companies will come for placements. The average package is 3 LPAs As far as I know, the highest offered was 6 LPA for the B.Com. regular. Few of them got placed, and others opted for higher studies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top-notch at St. Joseph's University. The classrooms are very spacious. The library has all the required books, Wi-Fi, a digital library, and you can also work with different software in the library that is paid for outside. Since I'm a commerce student, I'm not aware of labs; looking at the infrastructure, I think even labs would be great.
Faculty: The teachers and syllabus are all very good at St. Joseph's University, no doubt about that. The teachers are highly qualified with PhDs and are very knowledgeable; they are very supportive and approachable. When it comes to the syllabus, they are up to industry standards, and even exams with a with a difficult level are moderate. The passing percentage is 35 percent.
Other: Apart from academics, they encourage sports and culture as well; they focus on holistic education. There are a lot of clubs and associations where students can join and organize various events.

The cut-off too is high for B.Com. It is around 90% for General Merit, 75% for SC/ST and for Christian Catholic Colleges.

There will be entrance exams for B.A (Visual Communication), EJP, BCA, B.Voc. (Digital media & animation) and B.Voc (Visual media & film making) courses. There will be no entrance exams for all other under-graduate courses. Hence there is no entrance test for B.Com admission at SJC Bangalore.
