M.Sc. in Botany (Ethano Botany and Ethano Pharmacology) - Batch of 2025
4.2

So far great college for pursuing M.Sc. In botany.
Placements: In the case of placements, our college did not offer us a career fair or other employment chances. However, our lecturers assisted us in obtaining an internship for the PG thesis, which enabled me to have greater access to lab equipment, procedures, and facilities.
Infrastructure: The course was worth my time, plus I didn't have to pay anything because I received a scholarship. The hostel life was more enjoyable. We had a terrific time in the hostel. It provided us with a superb and studious setting. Classrooms were well-kept and established. The hostel accommodations were quite decent, and the food quality was remarkable.
Faculty: The lecturers were knowledgeable and helpful with our college project, and they explained everything well. The quality of instruction is also good. Our college's education was far too practical to prepare us for the workplace. Semester examinations were not particularly difficult to pass. Our college has an 85% passing percentage.

M.Sc. in Physics - Batch of 2021
4.4

Good college and better infrastructure.
Placements: More than 60 percent of students were placed in our college with good salary package of 9.7 lakhs per annum and the lowest salary package of 2.4 lakhs per annum. Top companies like IBM and TCS are visiting our college. Few students got internships. Top roles offered are professor, research analyst, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure and facilities are available, like Wi-Fi, labs, a library with all research papers, departments and classrooms are available, medical facilities are available, sports and games are conducted, food quality is decent, and cultural events are included.
Faculty: Lectures are very strict and they are helpful for us. They are done with higher education, like a Ph.D. They also have good knowledge and experience. Our course is curriculum-relevant. Exams are a bit difficult. We have to study. Passing percentage is 50 percent of marks.

My review of this college.
Placements: There are many MNCs, which visit our college for placements. Some companies that offer their jobs to maths students are Nomura, Accenture, McKinsey & Company, Citi Bank, Teach For India, American Express, EY, etc. For placements, there is a Campus Placement Cell (CPC) that takes charge of the placements held in the college. In the first year itself, they register each student into their database, and then from the first year we can get an internship. Most of the internships are provided to first-year students by tier-2 companies. In the second year, we get internships from tier-1 companies.
Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure and facilities are good. The first-year students have to share a room with another student but from the second year, they get their own rooms. Washrooms are okay. Rooms have a bed, table, etc.
Faculty: The math faculty members are exceptionally good. One teacher's teaching is very intriguing and the other teacher is one of the authors of our textbook. So, I guess that explains a lot. Physics faculty members are already involved in research in a lot of national institutes. So their teaching is good. Inorganic Chemistry is taught by a teacher who has very strong roots in the subject. Semester exams are conducted at the end of each semester. There are internal exams twice for each subject which get added up to the semester exams. The course curriculum is the same as followed by other colleges of Delhi University. It has studies over the 2 years span out on focusing on each topic of the subject done in class 11th and 12th with tutorials or practicals. Although one would like for the course to focus on practical application.

Good college and better infrastructure.
Placements: Approximately 70 percent of students were placed. More than 15 companies visit our college with the highest salary package of 9.5 lakhs per annum and the lowest salary package of 2.3 lakhs per annum. Few students got internships outside of college.
Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure and facilities are provided by our college, like Wi-Fi with unlimited data, labs with advanced equipment, a library with research papers, medical facilities are also available, the mess is very hygienic, food quality is acceptable, and sports and games are conducted.
Faculty: Lecturers are very kind; they are done with their higher education; they are also having good knowledge in teaching. The teaching quality is good, which makes us understand the concepts. Our course is not curriculum-based. Exams are difficult; 50 percent of marks are required to pass the semester exams.

Very good college for the economics.
Placements: In our college, most of the students go for higher education. Our college placements cell was very highly active and developed, but there were very few placements in our course. Around 10-15% of students get placed at our college. Top roles offered in our course were content writers, researchers, assistants, etc.
Infrastructure: College has a very developed infrastructure, and the campus of the college was quite good. College has Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, hostel, etc., available on the campus for the students. College hostel facilities were also good. Sports and medical facilities were also available at the college.
Faculty: Faculty of the college were of friendly nature to the students. All the teachers were supportive and helpful to the college students. Teachers were qualified and knowledgeable enough. The course curriculum of the college was absolutely relevant to the industry.

A good college choice for chemistry students.
Placements: The chemistry program offered a good placement opportunity with around 75% of students secured jobs in reputed companies. The highest package students received was 9 LPA, and the lowest was 4 LPA. The average was 6 LPA. The top companies that came for the recruitment process are Sun Pharma, Tata Chemical, and research institutes. About 70% of students secured internships in pharmaceutical companies, research and development, Labs, and quality control departments.
Infrastructure: The chemistry department had well-equipped laboratories with advanced instruments like a photometer, chromatography unit, and fum wood for practical experiments. The library was filled with chemical books, research journals, and online resources. The hostels were clean and provided a good study environment with Wi-Fi access. Mess food was good and students had access to sports facilities, medical centers, and a well-maintained campus.
Faculty: Faculty members were supportive and ensured students solved complex concepts in organic, inorganic, and physical Chemistry. The course curriculum was well-structured covering theoretical and practical aspects making students industry-ready. Exams were moderately difficult but manageable with regular study and the pass percentage was high.
