St. Xavier's College truly justifies its brand value.

Placements: The placement percentage in MHRM (for my batch) was around 75%. The remaining students got involved in family businesses. The highest package offered was around 4.5 LPA, and the average package was between 3-3.5 LPA. The top role offered in this course was human resource manager.

Infrastructure: The college has facilities like an air-conditioned library, computer labs, and well-furnished classrooms. Apart from this, the college canteen or the cafeteria (many say) provides various food options, from tea and coffee to bhel puri and more.

Faculty: The best part about taking up MHRM was the faculty along with the curriculum. It covered multiple subjects related to human resource management, such as human resource information systems, human resource management, and a few law-based subjects but related to company laws and more. The curriculum is designed so that every individual goes through every subject in depth, making them a master of basics and more. The case study assignments and discussions in the classroom are an add-on to this fantastic course. MHRM is a post-graduation degree. There has to be some difficulty level in the examination. The pass percentage is generally assumed to be at least 45% in each subject.

Other: The primary reason behind selecting MHRM by St. Xavier's college, Jaipur, is that it is the only college that is based out of Jaipur that offers a full-time two-year course in human resources equivalent to an MBA in HR. A common MBA student will study all the subjects in the 1st year and can opt for a specialisation in the 2nd year, but in Xavier's, you get to study all the subjects related to human resources both years, making it comparatively a rich course than MBA.
