The eligibility criteria says that a candidate applying for BBA should have a minimum of 50 percentage aggregate marks. Also, if you are having more than 70 percentage marks then you will also be eligible to avail the scholarship benefits.

Hi dear, The St, Xavier's College Autonomous has its own admission process which is entirely different as prescribed by the Mumbai university.
As soon as the results are declared the college starts distribution of the forms. At present you need to fill the online form first on the college's website , pay the fee in the form of demand draft and then you need to wait for the first merit list for various courses.
The merit list will have your name if it finds you in the prescribed cutoffs. After that, within 2-3 days you need to report the college with the original certificates and your application form number which you filled online.
Also, you need to possess the form given by MU which is mandatory for every candidate seeking admissions for undergraduate courses in Mumbai.
Stand in a queue, pay the fees , handover the originals and you're done.
If you didn't find your name in the list, wait for the 2nd merit list and so on.
The merit lists will be announced as per the availability of seats for each course and the candidates who failed to report.
The college has the autonomy to decide when the lists should be out or not. The MU doesn't interfere in the college matters.
The college even holds entrance exams and interviews for selective courses like BMS and BMM. That's the benefit of Autonomy the college holds.
But as per MU, no college has the authority to conduct any kind of entrance exams for any undergraduate courses leaving aside the professional ones like Engineering , Medicine, etc.
Since St. Xavier's College is Autonomous it can do whatever it feels like. I think that's the privilege it gets.
This is the general criteria for courses like BSc and BA.
Hope so you got your answer.

Hi ishika, SEE your question is exactly not cleared to me I am giving the ans by assuming that you are doing any degree n you are in 1st year and wanted to go for any good college in your 2nd year. Focus on the entrances paper totally. Solved the previous year papers and practice a lot as if your score and rank will be good then you can get admission without any failure. Also study for the college test on which you are now. Going into another college basically depends upon the college to college. Its basically depends upon the university. Most of the universities allowed only lateral entry (students who are graduated) or who had done any Diploma course from any other college can join in the 2nd year. Hope so you got your answer. You can do additional courses but you can't apply for another degree course. However, if you want to change your college after 1st year you can do that but not in between the year. I hope it helps, thanks!
