Xavier's consistency in producing quality students continues.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are quite qualified with Masters or a Ph.D. degree. My course professors are quite approachable. Due to the autonomous nature of the college, the course is quite frequently updated with a moderate to high level of difficulty in the exam paper. The assignments assigned often include primary data collection, interviews, field visits, extensive research, and paper presentation seminars. All these factors make students industry-ready to face any pressure. The pass percentage is ...

A very good and vibrant college.

Faculty: Since I haven't met all the faculty yet, but those I have met already are really good and helpful. Precisely, they are very qualified and knowledgeable, and the main thing is they teach really well. I had almost all my lectures interactive. Exams are conducted fairly. The difficulty of exams depends. They are strict with attendance, so be careful and mindful.

It has a good canteen. The woods are the best place to sit, and all Xavierites will agree with me.

Faculty: Teachers are nice, but the VP and the principal are not cooperative with students. Even when parents come to meet them, they do not resolve doubts or queries properly or provide any suggestions or solutions. However, teachers are more cooperative than the VP and the principal. They listen to our doubts and suggest necessary solutions.

Overall, the college is amazing.

Faculty: Teachers here are well-qualified and have strong subject knowledge. They know how to teach in a way that students can easily understand, and they are very helpful at every step. Such cooperative teachers are rare in colleges, which is a good sign.

Review of St. Xavier's College, Mumbai.

Faculty: The course covers all the essential aspects needed for industry purposes. There are two Continuous Internal Assessments (CIAs) and one end-semester exam. The first CIA is written, while the second involves objective-type questions, projects, or presentations. The end-semester exam totals 60 marks, and students need to obtain a combined total of 40 marks to pass the subject in that semester. The faculty at the college are experts in their respective fields, most holding doctorate degrees. They ar...

Vibrant college with a good return on investment.

Faculty: Faculty members are exceptional. They are all very approachable and quite good at teaching. They are graduates from some of the top universities and have a lot of experience. The course curriculum is extensive and relevant to the current job requirements. The college is academically rigorous. The exams are a bit difficult.

Great campus life and networking with some amazing and inspiring people.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. There are many guest lecturers who are experienced in their industries for a very long time to provide value to students. They give internships too. However, the curriculum is not extremely great as it gives an overview of the media industry and not in-depth concepts to a specific.

Worth the money and the faculty, placements are nice if you're well-prepared.

Faculty: Faculty members are nice and the curriculum is up to the mark. Exams are pretty moderate and are effective. The exam syllabus will make us industry-ready and every lecture is interview-oriented. There are a lot of things to self-study and maintain. All notes have to be taken diligently.

The best college in Mumbai.

Faculty: All the teachers are qualified and experts in their positions. They teach so good that the students become industry-ready. The course is perfectly related to the curriculum. Exams are not difficult, if you study the syllabus taught perfectly. St. Xavier's College is one of the best colleges in Mumbai.

The college has many events, so college life never feels dull.

Faculty: Faculty-student relationships vary depending on the faculty member. Some are strict but don't teach well, while others teach well but are lenient. There are two main exams: mid-semester and end-semester, along with other practical/internal tests throughout the semester.

The college has its merits and demerits.

Faculty: It's more theoretical. It would be more practical to have real-life field visits, but the college doesn't have that. It gives you a better understanding of how real life works. Most of the faculty hired are real-life working professionals, and their insights help a lot.

Great place to find a good career if you’re willing to sacrifice college life.

Faculty: Teachers are very qualified, and the teaching quality is always maintained. Surveys are conducted each semester to maintain teaching quality; however, little is taught to make students ready for work. Semester exams are relatively hard, and the pass mark required is 40 percent.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, infrastructure, education, fests, etc.

Faculty: The faculty here is very helpful. They are qualified and knowledgeable. They are open to new suggestions and always ready to help you out. There’s a saying: "Excellent teachers make excellent students." It is not only the students who pass the exams; it is the teachers who make it possible for them.
