Review of St. Xavier's College.
Placements: It is a regular graduation degree, and students from this stream generally take civil service exams. Our college placements are not good. Some companies hire students from our department as political authors or political scientists. At the same time, after completing an M.A. degree, one can become a professor at the college.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure. All facilities are available. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Many books are available in the library. Classrooms are well-equipped with CCTV cameras and ventilators. Projectors are installed in our classrooms. We have a well-structured hostel with all the amenities, like water supply and generator facilities. The quality of food in the mess and canteen is good. Medical facilities are available. An ambulance is available to take students to the hospital in emergency cases. Our college has proper sports facilities like a basketball court, football court, a badminton court, and a huge ground for all other sports. We have a proper games room equipped with all the game equipment and other indoor games like carrom, chess, table tennis, etc. Students are free to access these at any time.
Faculty: Our teachers are very diligent, helpful, and responsible. They are well qualified. Most of them are M.A. or Ph.D. holders. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant as it helps us learn the subject and demands a deep analysis of the relevant issues. This helps us engage more in the subject and makes it more interesting. Semester exams are average. Questions are well structured and require a thorough study of the subject. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because of its vast scope. This course always provides me with a plan B in life. The best thing about our course is that I am studying information that I have already read in classes 11 and 12, which makes it more interesting for me. The course should be more informative and analytical. The syllabus for many semesters seems to be somewhat repetitive. Our college celebrates festivals every year. Various events are held regularly, like women's day celebrations, science days, aids protection campaigns, and seminars. Our college organises various other events like dramas, skits, and dance performances. Scholarships are available for ST, SC, OBC, and EWS categories.

Review of St. Xavier's College.
Placements: College is one of the most reputed colleges in Jharkhand. Many students desire to get admission from all over the state. Placement isn't that great, but the college provides opportunities. I got placed through the college placement cell. The average salary package is around 2 to 3.5 LPA. Mostly they provide off-campus job opportunities. There is no specific placement for B.A. in political science. We have to go for general placement.
Infrastructure: We have a separate department and a library with a good collection of books, research papers, and journals. We have spacious classrooms, equipped with projectors but don't have Wi-Fi classrooms. We have Wi-Fi in the library. Hostel is decent with three blocks. We have a mess for each hostel with a common gym and a playground. There are basketball courts, and volleyball courts and has 3 different canteens to serve.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, knowledgeable, and very supportive. In my first year, my teachers helped me too much. They'll guide you thoroughly if you seek their guidance. The course is based on CBCS and is pretty decent but it doesn't make students industry-ready. We have a mid-semester and end-semester. There are a total of 6 semesters. The difficulty level is moderate. The pass marks is 44 out of 100.
Other: I wanted to do Bachelor's in political science and didn't want to go to Delhi and other options available Xavier's was the best one. College is situated in the center of the city, so it doesn't take too much time to reach the college from my home. I wanted to go for LL.B. and for graduation, I found political science very apt. College would have provided enough internship opportunities. We have a yearly fest but in those exceptional times, we missed those fests. If you want to indulge in extracurricular activities then you'll get enough time and opportunities.

It is an excellent college, and you must visit the campus and see the infrastructure.
Placements: The placements are good, and many of the students got placed in companies like Wipro, TCS etc. Teachers help students a lot.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the best compared to the other degree colleges in Jharkhand. No other college will provide such infrastructure like Xavier College. It has a central library in which you spend your time with books, without any disturbance.
Faculty: My course teachers were the best I have seen. The way of their teaching is amazing, and you get to understand everything very easily. If you have any doubts, then they will guide you well. Most of the teachers were young, and they very well know how to interact with students.
Other: Those were the best years of my life, in this college.

The college is good, but it can be better.
Placements: The college doesn't provide placement for this department. Only the vocational courses are provided placements. There must be a common placement committee for the college which must invite the companies every year to hire students. This will allow every willing student to attend for the placement drives.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are clean and hygienic. There is no use of powerpoint presentations. The traditional method of teaching is used, i.e., chalk and blackboard. The library is good. I have no idea about the labs because I am an arts department student. There are a good facility and participation of students in games and sports.

It's a good college in Ranchi with placement available.
Placements: I think 30% of students were placed from our course. The highest package was something about 15 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA, I think. 20% of students got internships in very good companies like Wipro, PhonePe, etc. The top roles offered were employees, HR, and manager. Many students got jobs outside India in very good positions with a good salary.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Xavier was just wow. They had projectors in every classroom. A big library was available with Wi-Fi facility. Hostel rooms were quite decent, and the food was okay, not that good, but okay. Medical facilities were good, with a nurse available. Talking about sports, in college, every month a sports program was held, and students also won, even at the state level.
Faculty: The teachers available here were very helpful, kind, qualified, and knowledgeable. They were well-educated and had higher degrees. The curriculum was relevant, and it made the student more knowledgeable. The exams were quite difficult, they gave important and tricky questions. Most probably, teachers only set question papers. The passing criteria were 33%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to study these subjects, and I'm interested in them. According to my dream job, this was the best college for this. The best thing about my course was the teachers, they provided us with all the things, like notes, knowledge, and gave us their time without any hesitation. Almost every year, we have fests, and there is a crowd because the college has many students. As we all know, this college was the best for us. Surroundings were very peaceful and full of greenery. Scholarship was the best part here, they provided it to the deserving ones. There were no extracurricular activities.
