Swami Sarvanand Institute of Management and Technology, Dinanagar.
Placements: Placements in our college for B.Sc. Agriculture is almost negligible. Hardly 5–10% of students get placed, and even then, it is usually in low-paying, field-level jobs. Most students have to search for jobs on their own or prepare for government exams. This information is meant to give a realistic picture, not to discourage admission.
Infrastructure: College has basic infrastructure such as classrooms, a library, and laboratories, but most of the equipment is outdated and not well-maintained. Hostel facilities are average, and the mess food is below standard. However, the college staff is very good and supportive.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful and well-qualified, but overall, the teaching quality is average. The curriculum feels outdated and lacks practical industry exposure. Semester exams are not very difficult, and most students pass with basic preparation using class notes or previous years’ question papers.
