B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026
3.2
If you want enjoyment, entertainment, and a normal college life, I suggest you don't!
Placements: I am currently pursuing my B.Tech in Data Science course with a total of 128 students. As far as my knowledge goes, the highest package was 20 LPA, the average was 8-10 LPA, and the lowest was 2 LPA. Most of the companies belong to the BPO category, and some renowned companies like TCS, Capgemini, etc., also approach us. It was low, to be honest, and most were placed in small companies, with only a few people getting placed in renowned companies like TCS, etc. Major roles like DBMS, data handling, and also NLP basics are offered.
Infrastructure: Actually, the college is not as big as other colleges comparatively. It has 2 blocks, and the infrastructure is average. There is no hostel facility as it is located in the heart of the city, and you can approach the college through any means. So there is no problem in travelling, and it can also be helpful for the students who live far away, as they can come by bus, train, or metro.
Faculty: Teachers are not highly qualified, as I think, due to their delivery in teaching, but a few teachers, especially in Sirsa, are very good in their fields. Also, the curriculum is relevant according to JNTUH, but the source is not always provided. Semester exams are difficult for us, as ours was JNTUH-affiliated.
Other: Nothing great, no events except freshers, farewell, and annual day.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (IOT) - Batch of 2026
3.6
Not a good college for students who are seeking high-paying jobs.
Placements: I am from the batch of 2022-2026, and my course is CSE (IOT) with a class strength of 56 students. There are only 30% of students in our course who got internships from companies like Cognizant, Tech Mahindra and Sutherland. The highest package is of 8 LPA, and the lowest package is of 5 LPA for our course.
Infrastructure: Every classroom in our college has a projector, and classrooms are decent in terms of maintenance. There is no hostel facility in our college. Some of the labs, like Chemistry and electrical engineering labs, are maintained very neatly. The food available in the canteen is decent in terms of taste and price. The library in our college is very good with well-stacked books and journals.
Faculty: The faculty for subjects like C programming and mathematics is very good, and the rest of the faculty members are decent in terms of teaching and knowledge. Some of the topics in our subjects are outdated and irrelevant to getting placed in the industry. The semester exams are difficult from the second year onwards.
Other: Every month, there is an event or a festival occurring in our college. Sports competitions (both indoor and outdoor) are organised once a year.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (IOT) - Batch of 2025

It is a below average college.
Placements: According to 2024, the students placed on campus are 55%. Only half of the students are not placed on campus. Recruiting companies are Zomato, HCL, Accenture, Zero Code, TCS, Global Data, etc. The highest package is 5.55 LPA. The lowest package is 3.50 LPA. Internships are not offered here.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are average, washrooms are bit average, and library is good. It has a lot of books which are useful for student courses. Classrooms have maximum 8 fans but in that, only 4 will work properly. Food in the canteen is overpriced and it does not have any Indian food. It has only limited options. Sports classes are not there. Ground is so small, and we cannot play any games. Our college has the best auditorium, and I can say that proudly.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in getting good marks in internals. There are handful of faculty members. They are good and qualified and have better knowledge. If you are interested in coding, then they will help in many ways to gain knowledge. Our batch is JNTUH affiliated so semester exams are somewhat difficult. Present batch is autonomous only. Pass percentage in each semester is 65-75%.

Absolutely feeling below average.
Placements: Very few placements are there, in that one or two people are getting recruited. All the companies are very bad startups. They are not bringing any internship opportunities for the students. Students themselves are searching for jobs and internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in the college is not as good as expected. Hostel and bus facilities are not available. In labs, most of the computer systems won't work properly. Sports and games will be conducted once a year before annual day. They don't provide a Wi-Fi connection.
Faculty: Teaching quality is average. They can teach to make students pass in exams. They can't teach as industry experts. The training sessions will be conducted to learn the tools. Each semester will have different tools to learn according to the syllabus.

Good placements in 2024 and it is now autonomous college, so for freshers it is good option.
Placements: Computer Science Engineering has many job offers these days. Our college provided more than 450 placements last year. Top recruiter is Wipro. Almost 80% of students are placed in good companies. SVIT also provides internships for 2nd and 3rd year students.
Infrastructure: SVIT facilities are average and classrooms are above average. Library and labs are good. But they don't provide Wi-Fi for students. SVIT does not provide hostel facilities, and students need to stay in private hostels. Food in canteen is good. And sports and games are available.
Faculty: Teachers at SVIT College are very helpful. They teach us life lessons. Students prepare for semester exams and passing is not too hard, as it depends on the course we choose. Computer Science Engineering is a very professional course and SVIT tries its level best.
Other: The best thing about the college is it teaches us life lessons.

According to me, my college is above average but it has good auditorium, library, lab, canteen, ground.
Placements: In every batch, atleast least 35%–40% of students are placed in the companies in the campus placements. The highest package offered to my course was 11 LPA, and the lowest was 9.5LPA. Recruiting companies like TCS, Qualcomm, Sutherland, Axis Bank, Infosys, etc. Come for the recruitment in our college.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are not available at our college. Our college contains good labs, decent classrooms, a decent canteen, and a very good library. Wi-Fi is not available on the whole campus, but sometimes we have to face very difficult connections to the network, and sometimes the network is very slow. This should not be improved yet.
Faculty: At the time of our batch, our college was affiliated with JNTU, but at present it is an autonomous college. So for our batch, the passing marks in the exams were 21 out of 60. It was like 60 marks for external exams and 40 marks for internal exams. During my batch, there were qualified and knowledgeable teachers for subjects like C programming, Java, mathematics, chemistry, and English.
Other: I selected this course because it was good in curriculum-wise and also because it will provide many opportunities for me in the future. Coming to events and fests, it occurs like thrice in a year. Sports competition (including indoor) are also conducted once in a year. I don't have an idea about scholarship.

Want to get an honest review on SVIT? Read this.
Placements: Not so fine with the placement because of the reputation, and you can't even think of getting a scholarship as they don't allow it if it's a normal company. It should be a reputed one or a big one which can get the college some fame. They will provide you training but you can expect the least.
Infrastructure: No hostel is available, but the canteen food is good and you can get PGs around the college easily, and it will be reasonable in price. As its campus is in the center of the city, everything will be available nearby, even coaching like Ameerpet and Begumpet at a very reasonable price.
Faculty: Don't expect the college to complete the syllabus, but they will teach everything fine. The teachers are good and knowledgeable, but you have to behave well and be disciplined. Be regular to college which will help you with your internal marks, even with minds.
Other: SEE at last, I'll tell you it's a good college where you can find everything and every facility, but don't depend on the college for placement.

Satisfied with the faculty, campus placements, and the infrastructure is good.
Placements: HCL is the top recruiting company. Previously we had technical and non technical placements, we were good at non technical placements. We have enough chances at the campus placements. A lot of internships are provided and the students are guided by their seniors too.
Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, Library and washrooms are all maintained well in the campus. The college has a good educational atmosphere. A canteen is available in the campus, food can be rated 4/5. They have enough place for parking too. But there is no separate space for ground.
Faculty: Qualifications and the teaching quality of the faculty are very good. They are helpful to us. The college follows the JNTUH curriculum which is relevant to our course. Semester exams are difficult, but can be passed. The teaching staff is friendly with the students and helpful towards us.
Other: CSE is one of the most preferred courses in B.Tech. Regular events are being held in the college campus.
