B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026

Good placements in 2024 and it is now autonomous college, so for freshers it is good option.
Placements: Computer Science Engineering has many job offers these days. Our college provided more than 450 placements last year. Top recruiter is Wipro. Almost 80% of students are placed in good companies. SVIT also provides internships for 2nd and 3rd year students.
Infrastructure: SVIT facilities are average and classrooms are above average. Library and labs are good. But they don't provide Wi-Fi for students. SVIT does not provide hostel facilities, and students need to stay in private hostels. Food in canteen is good. And sports and games are available.
Faculty: Teachers at SVIT College are very helpful. They teach us life lessons. Students prepare for semester exams and passing is not too hard, as it depends on the course we choose. Computer Science Engineering is a very professional course and SVIT tries its level best.
Other: The best thing about the college is it teaches us life lessons.

Reality of SVIT from the student.
Placements: There is no such thing as good placement in this college. A few fourth-year students have been placed, but not many. If you want a good job, you must try hard on your own and not rely on the management to get you into a good company that offers high-paying jobs.
Infrastructure: The college doesn’t have a proper campus. There are only two buildings, a small ground, a canteen, and an auditorium. There are labs, but they are only for show and not useful for real applications. The management is inconsistent and hasn’t made any significant progress in improving the college’s facilities.
Faculty: This college is affiliated with JNTUH, so don't expect much from it. Even if you study well, you won’t be able to score impressive marks that make you feel proud. The examination corrections are among the worst.
Other: I chose this course because it was popular at the time, but later I realized it wasn't as great as I initially thought. It has potential, but the reality doesn’t match expectations.

B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science - Batch of 2026

Absolutely feeling below average.
Placements: Very few placements are there, in that one or two people are getting recruited. All the companies are very bad startups. They are not bringing any internship opportunities for the students. Students themselves are searching for jobs and internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in the college is not as good as expected. Hostel and bus facilities are not available. In labs, most of the computer systems won't work properly. Sports and games will be conducted once a year before annual day. They don't provide a Wi-Fi connection.
Faculty: Teaching quality is average. They can teach to make students pass in exams. They can't teach as industry experts. The training sessions will be conducted to learn the tools. Each semester will have different tools to learn according to the syllabus.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (IOT) - Batch of 2026

4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
According to me, my college is above average but it has good auditorium, library, lab, canteen, ground.
Placements: In every batch, atleast least 35%–40% of students are placed in the companies in the campus placements. The highest package offered to my course was 11 LPA, and the lowest was 9.5LPA. Recruiting companies like TCS, Qualcomm, Sutherland, Axis Bank, Infosys, etc. Come for the recruitment in our college.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are not available at our college. Our college contains good labs, decent classrooms, a decent canteen, and a very good library. Wi-Fi is not available on the whole campus, but sometimes we have to face very difficult connections to the network, and sometimes the network is very slow. This should not be improved yet.
Faculty: At the time of our batch, our college was affiliated with JNTU, but at present it is an autonomous college. So for our batch, the passing marks in the exams were 21 out of 60. It was like 60 marks for external exams and 40 marks for internal exams. During my batch, there were qualified and knowledgeable teachers for subjects like C programming, Java, mathematics, chemistry, and English.
Other: I selected this course because it was good in curriculum-wise and also because it will provide many opportunities for me in the future. Coming to events and fests, it occurs like thrice in a year. Sports competition (including indoor) are also conducted once in a year. I don't have an idea about scholarship.

Want to get an honest review on SVIT? Read this.
Placements: Not so fine with the placement because of the reputation, and you can't even think of getting a scholarship as they don't allow it if it's a normal company. It should be a reputed one or a big one which can get the college some fame. They will provide you training but you can expect the least.
Infrastructure: No hostel is available, but the canteen food is good and you can get PGs around the college easily, and it will be reasonable in price. As its campus is in the center of the city, everything will be available nearby, even coaching like Ameerpet and Begumpet at a very reasonable price.
Faculty: Don't expect the college to complete the syllabus, but they will teach everything fine. The teachers are good and knowledgeable, but you have to behave well and be disciplined. Be regular to college which will help you with your internal marks, even with minds.
Other: SEE at last, I'll tell you it's a good college where you can find everything and every facility, but don't depend on the college for placement.

It is a below average college.
Placements: According to 2024, the students placed on campus are 55%. Only half of the students are not placed on campus. Recruiting companies are Zomato, HCL, Accenture, Zero Code, TCS, Global Data, etc. The highest package is 5.55 LPA. The lowest package is 3.50 LPA. Internships are not offered here.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are average, washrooms are bit average, and library is good. It has a lot of books which are useful for student courses. Classrooms have maximum 8 fans but in that, only 4 will work properly. Food in the canteen is overpriced and it does not have any Indian food. It has only limited options. Sports classes are not there. Ground is so small, and we cannot play any games. Our college has the best auditorium, and I can say that proudly.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in getting good marks in internals. There are handful of faculty members. They are good and qualified and have better knowledge. If you are interested in coding, then they will help in many ways to gain knowledge. Our batch is JNTUH affiliated so semester exams are somewhat difficult. Present batch is autonomous only. Pass percentage in each semester is 65-75%.
