The requirement of SLAT varies course-wise. Candidates seeking admission in BA LLB (Hons) or BBA LLB (Hons) courses must have a valid SLAT score for admission. However, SLAT is not required for any other offered programmes. SIU conducts SLAT or Symbiosis Law Admission Test once in a year in computer-based mode. Those who pass the test are further required to qualify the PI round for admission.

The Symbiosis Law accepst a total of 120 students to pursue BA LLB (Hons) programme for the academic year 2025. The seats are alloted based on the merit/entrance exam scores. Moreover, the law school may follow the seat reservation policy of the state or central government.  

Symbiosis Law School (SLS) Pune offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Diploma level courses to its students with the admission to the latter being done on the basis of merit in the qualifying exams. Based on the scores attained in the entrance examinations conducted by the college, students for UG and PG levels are given admissions.
