T. John Group of Institutions (autonomous) is a college we shouldn't underestimate by looks.
Placements: Currently, no such information is available as I am still in the 2nd year. But heard from seniors that placements are pretty average. Not much support is provided. The average package offered ranges from around 3-4 LPA. It's actually not that good. Rest it is our efforts.
Infrastructure: It has a pretty good infrastructure and the hostel facilities are awesome. Especially the girls' hostel is very calm with friendly surroundings. The food quality is good overall it shouldn't be different for our station candidates. Wi-Fi is not available but classrooms are good.
Faculty: The college might not be that good but some of the faculty members are best in class. Faculty members are always up to help us. The course curriculum is excellent and up to date as the college is autonomous. Exams are conducted in a good manner and it's overall a good experience.

I am absolutely not satisfied due to more pressure given by the Principal and staff members.
Placements: Only a few students get placed by themselves and not by any college recommendation. The lowest package is 1.25 LPA and the highest package is 3.25 LPA. The average package is 2.15 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Cipla, Narayana, etc., hire students. Only a few students get internships by themselves and on their own hard work.
Infrastructure: I have the worst Wi-Fi experience. Classrooms are not proper. Computer systems are assigned to use. There are 5 to 6 computer works that teachers use of them. The hostel is the worst place for students who have to use the same facilities as other places like school or college.
Faculty: The only way I could do that is if we wanted to come over and gain access to knowledge is very low and not a good idea to do that because we have to be self-aware to do all studies by ourselves and not by staff members. It is too difficult to score pass marks in the pharmacy field.

B.E. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning - Batch of 2026

My journey through AI&ML.
Placements: I am Nandini and I am doing my B.E. in artificial intelligence and mission learning at T. John College. Honestly, the course is pretty good if you are interested in AI and coding. The subjects are really interesting, especially when we get to work on real projects and understand how I actually work. In placement wise, around 60 to 70% of students in our batch got placed in companies like Infosys, Velcro, PCS, IBM, and few startup companies for placements. The average package is around 3 LPA, and the highest is little over 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The library is one of my favorite places. It's quite a lot of books, and D won the digital sector if you prefer reading on screens. Our department facility is quite supportive, especially if you ask doubts or what help with the project. Hostels are okay nothing too fancy but manageable. I share my room with two other girls. The rooms are decent in size and we have enough space to study and keep our stuff. The washrooms are clean most of the time depending on the hostel block and honestly how responsible.
Faculty: Most of the teachers in our AI&ML department are really helpful and quite qualified. A few of them are super chill and easy to approach especially if you are stuck with the project work or a concept. Some of them stick to the syllabus a lot but if you ask them doubts outside of the class they actually help you understand better so teaching quality is decent, not super high end but definitely not bad.
Other: The campus is honestly beautiful, especially during the rainy season lot of greenery and open space. The crowd is mixed you will find all types of people, some are super focused some are just still. But I found a great group of friends we have a few fun events like Verve our college fest, tech fest, and department-level competition not the biggest events in Bangalore. But they are fun if you take them apart. We also have a club, dance, coding, photography, and even a woman cell with sometimes holds cool talks. The college is on a banana road so it's a bit far from central Bangalore bus comes to the gate and a lot of people use camps or scooters if you staying in a PG near its manageable. College life here is what you make of it if you stay serious do projects and get involved you will actually come out industry rate. It's not IIT but it's not bad rather I will grow a lot personally and professionally and make some memories I will never forget.

Greenery with knowledge and wisdom.
Placements: Placements in high named companies such as Cipla, etc. Many got placed in high-rated good companies which helps them in building their future with more success. Many got settled in foreign countries with high played salary. Many have built in strong base in India.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are always clean. Bathrooms are maintained with sanity. Our environment is green due to which our mind is always calm. Canteen provides variety and hygienic food. Hostel facility is also good with tight security. Labs have advanced equipment. Library has many books to refer to.
Faculty: We have experienced teachers who also help in building our future. Highly knowledgeable teachers are hired to lecture us. Teachers here have graduated from a very good college with more knowledge. The teaching skills are excellent with a realistic feel.
Other: Many events are successfully executed in our college for example Varnam, food fest, conference, and motivation speaker, which also helps in our co-curriculum activities.

I am absolutely satisfied because of good faculty members, placements, and infrastructure.
Placements: Around 50% of students are placed from the college side in our course, with an average package of 3 LPA. Recruiting companies that often visit our college are Wipro and Infosys. 60% of students receive internship opportunities. The top roles offered are junior analyst and HR executive.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, library, placement training, transport, Wi-Fi, hostel, and canteen facilities are provided by the college. The food is good quality, with breakfast and dinner served in the hostel. Students excelling in sports and games are highly encouraged here.
Faculty: Teachers guide us in every aspect, and they are very knowledgeable with high teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams here is moderate, with a pass percentage of 80%.
Other: I choose this course because I have an interest in business and its workings, and our college provides practical hands-on training to prepare us for the same. In our college, we have a lot of events, an annual fest, and scholarships are provided to students who meet the criteria as long as they maintain their CGPA.

It is a good college with average placements, good infrastructure, a campus with basic facilities.
Placements: Recently, MPHARM and B.Pharma students have been placed in various companies, including MNCs like Mylan Laboratories and Strides. The college helps students secure internships if they are willing to pay a certain amount. If students choose to take an internship outside the college's assistance, the faculty may help them with the details.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility. They provide basic infrastructure facilities like clean water, smart boards, desks, lawn area, library, laboratories, etc. Classrooms are spacious and have digital boards with good ventilation. There is no girls' hostel on the campus. There is only a boys' hostel, which provides good food. There is a common canteen which provides hygienic food.
Faculty: There are well-qualified teachers who have good knowledge and a strong grip on specialized subjects, and they teach well. However, for some subjects, there seems to be a lack of teachers, but if students request a faculty member, the college will arrange one. Exams are not that difficult and depend on the individual. Students who concentrate during classes usually pass exams easily.
Other: I chose this course because of the scope of the health and medical field in the future and because of my interest in the course. I hope that placements and opportunities can be improved, as pharmacists are very important in the medical field. Our college conducts events like a food fest, ethnic day, and sports fest every year. They also conduct workshops often, which are helpful for students, and they conduct a national conference, which is very helpful for students. Our college has inaugurated a bronze model of the Bowl of Hygieia, which is about 10 feet tall.
