Review of Takshshila Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Placement percentage of our college was below average. Students who got placed were offered very lo salary package. The highest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was Rs. 80,000 per annum. No one got internships, and they don't even bother to get an internship. There was a training and placement cell, and it was quite efficient.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was quite good. Classrooms were well designed for lectures, and there were labs for all the subjects. All these labs were equipped with all the best possible apparatus. There was a playground where all the sports practice and NCC practice was done.
Faculty: All the courses were available for students. There were separate departments for each course. Each department had a number of faculty members for specific subjects, and there was a HOD who was the in-charge of the department. Teaching methods are quite effective, and all the notes were provided.
Other: Techfest was organised every year by the college, and so was the annual function. Departments organised even a number of events during the session. The campus crowd was not so effective.

Sc./ IT/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business studies as optional subjects with the above-mentioned aggregate percentage (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates (except Creamy layer) candidates belonging to Madhya Pradesh) in subjects taken together.
Candidates passed 10+2 with grading system, must have grades equi. to mentioned aggregate %.
Candidates who had passed 10+2 with grace marks in any subject can also apply provided they have scored mentioned aggregate % excluding grace marks.
Result awaited student are also eligible on provisional basis.

Candidate who have passed Diploma in Engg. & Tech. examination with at least 45% masks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (excluding creamy layer) category of Madhya Pradesh) Subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
