Review of Tamilnadu College of Engineering.
Placements: Our batch had online placement drives. All of us got placed in good companies. If you don't have any backlogs, you can get placed on your own in core companies too. Some companies also allow students with backlogs if they have good skills.
Infrastructure: Every year, they organise the hostel day function. Those days are really beautiful and golden days in our diary. The hostel menu includes some non-vegetarian items too.
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly, and some are strict. If you are a sportsperson, they will help you with that too.
Other: We missed our college life in final year due to the pandemic.

The infrastructure of the college can be maintained well.
Placements: Only a few students got placed from college. Most of them got selected through off-campus and in the walking interviews. The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 8,000 per month. KPIT and Zoho were the top recruiting companies in our college. The software engineer was the role offered. In our course, the highest salary package offered was 3.3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was Rs. 96,000 per annum. A few students got an internship from college, and the remaining applied by their efforts.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs of our college were average, and the library was good. In hostels, a room has to be shared by four members, which don't have attached bathroom. There were 20 bathrooms, and toilets are available. The hostel was of 3 floors, and the food served was good. Even snacks were served in the evening.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful, and they cleared all our doubts. They were very qualified and knowledgeable. Therefore the teaching was also very good. The course curriculum was very interesting, and they make students industry-ready.
Other: I opted for the course because I have an interest in electricals like motors and machines. The college can organise more PPT presentations and demonstrations for the students to understand better. Sports are very appreciable, and every department has industrial visits. Festivals are celebrated on campus. Scholarships were also provided by the college. The campus is surrounded by trees which looks beautiful.

It would be better if the institution conduct fests in a better way.
Placements: The infrastructure of the overall campus is actually nice. It has a decent hostel with all the necessary facilities like electricity through out the day. Warm water in winters, Wi-Fi, etc. College has decent laboratories and a library to encourage your knowledge with standard books. And all the places are cleaned time to time. It would be better if the institution conduct fests in a better way.
Infrastructure: I am studying B.Tech second year in the stream of Information Technology, the quality of teaching in my college is really good and we have an application oriented teaching and learning and my college curriculum is well updated which makes us industry ready.
Faculty: Placements are good in my college, last year around 95 percent of students were placed and the highest package in the branch of Information Technology is 6 lacs per year and the placement process is pleasant and my college is very supportive and encouraging.
Other: My course is Information Technology which costs me one lac per annum and I feel that my money is getting worth because my college conduct lot of competitions and workshops every month and annual days in which we can participate and improve our skills.

If you want to do this course, then don't join this college.
Placements: The college does not provide placements. Mahindra company visit our college for mechanical graduates, and it is a huge paying company.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is poor. It has Wi-Fi facility, but it provides only 20 MB per day. It cannot access without a VPN. The infrastructure of our college is not well. Classrooms are not equipped with projectors. It has a wooden desk, 5 fans and one green board. The water facility is available for 24 hours. A mess will be available all time. Bus facility is available at very low cost.
Faculty: Teachers in our college will not help everyone. They are not that much-qualified. They are TCE graduate, and they completed M.E in the same college. Most of the days they will take leave, and they won't ask students anything. They won't take classes properly. Their teaching quality is very poor. They are not at all strict. They are very bad. Staff members salary will be less.
Other: I have chosen this course. I don't have any facilities to learn the course. Lab facilities should be improved very much, and the college infrastructure should be changed. Staff members should take care of the students.
