It is a good college but needs some changes to be better in nursing.

Placements: Almost 40% of the students from B.Sc in nursing were placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month and the average salary offered was Rs. 18,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 12,000 per month. The top hospitals which visit here to provide placements for B.Sc nursing are Apolo, Midanta and Fortis. Roles offered here are clinical nurse, staff nurse and clinical instructor. About 20% of the students are interned in Apolo and Midanta.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available here, and labs are available with almost all requirements. There are huge classrooms with lecture theatre and E-classrooms with a projector. The library has all nursing books and previous year question papers. The hostel is good with good rooms, but the food served in the mess is not that much satisfying. There is a canteen in which food is expensive. Medical facilities are also available, and there are court and ground.

Faculty: Some teachers here are helpful and qualified, but not all teachers. Their teaching quality is not that satisfying. Some of them put stress and also not supportive. The course curriculum is good and helpful for students and for their future. But clinical duties are very hectic and stressful, especially makeup duties and internships.

Other: Nursing has a good scope for jobs and to enter into the medical profession other than MBBS. I wish that the study and teaching pattern and bad behaviour of hospital staff members during makeup and internships duties should be changed. Our college organises nice events and fests, and they provide great enjoyment. Scholarships are provided. All possible extracurricular activities are conducted here and students good fun with a yearly fest of nursing.
