My dream college THDC-IHET.

Faculty: All faculty members are very supportive. They help students whenever they want help and solve the students' queries. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester examinations are not so hard. Students require at least 50% to pass exams.

IHETian review. This college is average and improving every year.

Faculty: Teachers are very supportive, helpful, and well-qualified. They have completed their degree from IIT. They are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is the best. They provide question papers before exams. Course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate. The minimum percentage is 33%.

Infrastructure and faculty are good but low placement chances on campus.

Faculty: Teachers are good. There are rarely one or two good teachers. Professors and all teachers are assistant professors. The HODs of departments are assistant professors. Semester exams are moderate. We have to score more than 60 marks out of 150 in each subject.

The campus is located on hills side which is beautiful.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful but the teaching quality is not good, faculty is not up to the mark, the semester exam is very difficult and passing criteria is also very high, they also teach us skills which is good for industry purpose and they ready us for industry.

I'm satisfied with the environment of our college.

Faculty: Semester exams are averagely difficult. Average students can pass the exams with good marks with their efforts.

Review of THDC Institute of Hydropower Engineering and Technology.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They help in every manner from academics to online registrations, etc. There are many guest teachers in our college. Students are highly trained and educated to get industry ready. Semester exams are also up to the mark.

Placements are not good but apart of this, overall the college is good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful in every aspect and they can solve the doubts of students. Teaching quality is usually normal like other colleges. The course curriculum is UTU based and I think it needs to be updated with new technologies and students have to work on their careers on their own. Semester exams are easy to clear. Just go through the syllabus and prepare for the exams. They can help us to achieve good marks but for competitive exams, students have to put in extra efforts by themselves.

I am dissatisfied due to faculty.

Faculty: Few teachers are helpful and knowledgeable while some of them use PPTs to complete units. Course curriculum doesn't make sense most of the time concerning industry-ready. Exams are easy.

Good for a government regulated institute.

Faculty: The college is currently facing a faculty shortage, but it will be solved in a few months I hope, while the existing faculty are really good and supportive and friendly towards the students they are frequently overworked and thus students face difficulty in completing the course in due time.

Not a good if you seriously want to learn something .

Faculty: Lack of faculty members. Teachers are well qualified and helpful but there are few subjects whose teachers are not available in this college and that's a matter of concern. The available teachers are good, helpful, well qualified and knowledgeable. The curriculum is the same as the UTU curriculum.

The environment around the campus is awesome.

Faculty: Faculty members here are well qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good as they are recruited by TEQUIP programme. They are highly qualified. The course curriculum is good but not relevant in respect of the industry. Semester exams are moderate, but scoring marks are difficult.

It is the best government college in Uttarakhand.

Faculty: The faculty member to student ratio is about 1:25. There are many good faculty members from IITs and NITs with PhD degrees, and they have great knowledge in their fields. Some are new faculty members, and they don't have much experience in teaching, so they struggle sometimes. Sessional exams are conducted in between the semester and are easy to pass. Students who start studying 2-3 weeks before can score good marks in the sessional as well as in semester exams. Exams are not that difficult, and...

Our college is located in the hills.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful at any time, and most of them have done M.Tech. Many teachers have excellent skills in teaching. The course makes students industry-ready. Semester examinations are not that tough, and usually, questions come from the previous year. They are simple to pass, and the pass percentage is almost 80%.

The college is in good location.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good. The course does not make students ready for industry. But the student has to get prepared for the industry. As THDC-IHET is afflicted to UTU, therefore, their exam pattern is hard but still passing percentage is good.

Not for the people who are looking for campus placements.

Faculty: The faculty-student ratio is about 1:30. The teachers over here are good. There are many good faculty members from IIT's, NIT's having Ph.D. Degrees and they have great knowledge in their fields, but some of the faculty members are somewhat new and lack experience in the field of teaching. Generally, the college conducts one to two sessional examinations per semester and the end semester examinations are conducted by the UTU itself. The sessional examinations can be considered easy but sometimes...
