The Design Village provides Mac or iPad, which is one of the best parts of the college.

Through my eyes- Living the Design Life.
Placements: Placements at The Design Village felt promising but needed effort. Last year, around 60% of my classmates found jobs with design companies and a few well-known brands. Starting salaries were about 5-6 LPA, with some reaching 15 LPA. About half of us secured internships, earning Rs.8,000-Rs.10,000 per month. The placement team offered advice and practice sessions, but it depended on how good our work was. It was improving, so I'm hopeful if I work hard.
Infrastructure: The campus was pretty good for my Industrial Design course workshops had tools like 3D printers, decent Wi-Fi, and a small library with design books. The hostels were clean, with working internet and simple food, but space was limited, so I had to book early. Sometimes, the equipment stopped working, which could be annoying, but it was a solid place to learn and create things.
Faculty: Teachers were knowledgeable. Some had worked in the industry and shared helpful experiences. My course included drawing, building models, and studying design trends, which kept it interesting. Exams focused on projects rather than just tests, like making a prototype. Some teachers emphasized hands-on tasks, while others focused on theory, but it all helped prepare me for a job if I stayed committed.
Other: TDV had nice extras like guest lectures from professionals and opportunities to work on international projects. The campus had a creative feel, but the hostel rules were strict, and the food could have been tastier. It wasn't perfect, but I liked how we focused on practical work more than lectures. If you enjoyed the design and were ready for challenges, it might have been a good fit for you.

My TDV Diaries: A student's real scope.
Placements: Placements at TDV are decent, but we have to work hard. Last year, around 60% of my friends got jobs in design companies and a few big names. The starting package offered ranges from 5-7 LPA, and the best ones got the package of 16 LPA. Half students got internships with stipend ranges from Rs. 9,000-14,000 per month. The placement team gives trips and practice, but our own design matters a lot. It is improving, so we need to try our best.
Infrastructure: The campus is nice for my graphic design course. It has workshops with drawing tools, computers, and good Wi-Fi. The library is small but has useful design books. Hostels are okay with clean rooms, working internet, and simple food, but space fills up fast, so we should book early. Sometimes the equipment facts up, but it is a good place to learn.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Some teachers have worked in the design field and share good stories. My course has drawing, computer work, and trending lessons, which are interesting. Exams are more about making things than writing, like designing posters. Some teachers focus on doing stuff, other than reading, but it is all useful for jobs.
Other: TDV has some nice things like talks with design people and chances to work with other countries. The campus feels creative, but hostel rules are strict. The food could be better. It's not perfect, but I like the focus on projects more than lectures. If students enjoy design, then it is worth a look.

Review of The Design Village.
Placements: The Design Village placements are pretty good. Many students get jobs with a starting package that ranges from 4-6 LPA. Some cool design companies show up, but not always the big ones. Internships come early, which is awesome. It is a solid launch, but more company visits would be a bonus.
Infrastructure: The course infrastructure is great. Labs have tools like 3D printers, and they are perfect for design work. The library is small but useful to us. Hostels are basic and clean, with Wi-Fi, but not too spacious. It is good enough to study, sleep, and for fun. I suggest just students do not expect a palace.
Faculty: Faculty members are a mix. Some are pros who teach real skills and others lag a bit. Almost all professors are knowledgeable in their respective fields. The course curriculum is practical, with projects like layouts and not just books. Exams are tough but fair. It is about hard work but it also builds us up well.
Other: The Design Village vibe is unique. There are small classes, so teachers will know us. It's in Noida, so it is close to job hubs, which is handy. They have global tie-ups for workshops, but we need a strong portfolio to get in. It is a cool spot for designers.

TDV- Beyond the blueprints.
Placements: Honesty I was worried about placements, but TDV's got a solid record. Seniors have landed jobs at some awesome companies, and the placement teams always push us to be our best selves, helping with internships, portfolios, and even mock interviews.
Infrastructure: TDV's campus is good. The design labs are sick, with top-notch software and gear. We have got macs, PCs, and even 3D printing machines. Plus, hostels got all the essential-comfy beds, decent food, and Wi-Fi that doesn't work. It's like a home away from home.
Faculty: Our professors are cool. They are all industry bests who know their stuff, and they are always down to lend a helping hand. The curriculum is pretty solid too, we are talking hands-on projects and not just theory. We learn the latest design tools are trends, and even get to work on live projects with real clients.
Other: TDV's got a pretty chill vibe. We have design events, workshops, and the usual college shenanigans. It's a great place to explore your creativity, make some awesome friends, and even start your design ventures.
