My honest review of my college.
Placements: Our college has a placement cell established by the management for placement sessions. The college also provides an internship section. Placements are managed by the placement cell staff. Several companies visit the college and conduct aptitude tests to select and shortlist students, followed quickly by the interview process. The college also offers internships.
Infrastructure: Civil Engineering department also focuses on research and is very supportive in this area. M.Tech students have the last two semesters reserved only for research projects. Hostel instructions are very strict and strong, and it also feels like home. Facilities include a television for entertainment, a playground, play materials, and good rooms with fans, tables, pens, pencils, etc.
Faculty: Very good course curriculum. The syllabus is as per the requirements of the competition. It is based on semester-wise examinations, with two examinations in the whole semester. Marks are on a CGPA basis and divided into internal and external marks. The faculty members are very nice and have a helpful mentality. But no two persons are alike, it changes from person to person. However, one thing that remains unchanged is their helping nature. Every time, they are available for us wholeheartedly.

A good college to pursue an M.Tech.
Placements: The M.Tech in Power System program at our college was a good choice for students looking for specialization in power generation, transmission, and distribution. The program had a good placement record, with 80% of the students securing jobs in top companies. The highest package was 11 LPA, and the lowest was 5 LPA, with an average package of 7 LPA. Tata, ABB, NTPC, and L&T were among the companies that came for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The department was well-equipped with advanced labs for power system simulation, high-voltage engineering, and renewable engineering research. Software like MATLAB, RTAB, and PSCAD was available for practical learning and research. The library had a vast collection of books related to power systems and electrical engineering. The facilities provided a compatible study environment with Wi-Fi, power supply, and well-maintained resources.
Faculty: Faculty members were highly knowledgeable and experienced in power system analysis, smart grids, and renewable energy. They covered advanced topics like power system stability, load flow analysis, and energy management, ensuring students were industry-ready. The exams were decent, with a mix of theoretical and practical assessments.
