This counselling process is conducted at the state level for seat allotment in government and government-aided engineering colleges, university departments, and constituent colleges of Anna University. Moreover, the counselling process is conducted purely in online mode.

There will be 4 rounds of general TNEA 2023 counselling which will be carried out based on the published rank list.

Afte the completion of general rounds, TNEA's extra round of counseling will also be held.
