I am almost satisfied with the college. Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: About 75% of students are getting placed. If you are skilled, then the college will support you to the maximum, and they will provide opportunities for 100%. Placement coordinators are encouraging and providing training with utmost sincerity and seriousness. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. About 50% of students are getting internship opportunities. Top roles offered include software engineer, full-stack developer, etc. The highest package is above 10 LPA, and average is 6 LPA - 7 LPA. The lowest salary will be about 3 LPA - 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: College is providing good infrastructure and facilities. Classrooms are well maintained and furnished, and all classrooms as well as lab are under camera surveillance. They provide a good Wi-Fi connection. I am a hosteler, and it is also maintained properly. Food quality is also okay. They have proper schedule as well as food menu and follow it properly.
Faculty: Faculty members are well experienced, and you can witness 30% faculty will move to government colleges or to industries for much exposure after 1 year of experience. Faculty members are very friendly and their teaching methods are good. KTU syllabus will not make students ready for the industry. For that we cannot blame college but this college is providing special training for students according to the latest trends in industry where they will provide 3 options. We can choose any domain and train according.
Other: I am very much interested in computer science. It is very competitive field and getting a job is not easy. But due to current situation and recession, we are facing some difficulties. University should change its syllabus and train students for the industry, not only for marks, but companies need skilled workers. Around 1500 students studying in the college. I don't feel much crowd, they are conducting many events in a grand manner. The main festival in Advay. Around 300 students are there in hostel. College is 20 KM away from Ernakulam, the nearest town in Arakkunnam, Mulanthuruthy, and Piravom. The railway station is 5 KM from college, and 500 meters from the bus stop.

It offers excellent education with practical exposure.
Placements: I am from the B.Tech. in Safety and Fire Engineering courses. It is a top college with a good placement record. Top recruiting companies for our course are HPCL, BPCL, IOCL, L&T, Shapoorji Pallonji, KPMG, and Ernst & Young. Students also get placed in government fire departments and disaster management authorities. Internship opportunities are provided in Reliance Industries, Tata Steel, and Adani Group. Top roles offered are safety officer, fire safety engineer, risk assessment specialist, emergency response planner, and environmental health and safety specialist.
Infrastructure: The college offers state-of-the-art facilities, including well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, a comprehensive library, and high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity. The hostel provides comfortable rooms, a mess, a canteen, and a medical center. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy indoor and outdoor games, a gym, and an auditorium. Additional amenities include a cafeteria and transportation facilities, ensuring a comfortable and convenient learning experience.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. Their teaching is engaging and uses interactive teaching methods. The course curriculum is relevant and industry-focused. The course prepares students for industry challenges. Exams are moderate here. The pass percentage is approximately 80-90%.
Other: I chose the Safety and Fire Engineering course for its unique blend of technical and practical skills. Best things about the course hands-on training, industry connections and research opportunities. It should provide more industry collaborations and an updated curriculum. It should have a better infrastructure. Regular events and fests are organised. There is a diverse and supportive community. It has good connectivity and campus surroundings. Merit-based scholarships are provided. Extracurricular activities are held here.

Toc H - Good for its academics but disappoints with the campus life and extracurricular activities.
Placements: Around 50% of the students of my senior batches got placed around these years. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, etc. Around 75-80% of students get internships from this course. Some students get placed for 11 LPA and 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Labs and library are pretty above average and have all the necessary facilities and staff. Classrooms are average when we look at cleanliness and facilities. Wi-Fi facilities are rarely available, that too only if we are working on specific projects that are given by the college faculty members.
Faculty: Faculty members at Toc H are helpful and knowledgeable. The quality is pretty decent. Course curriculum is pretty good but lengthy. But it has been cut short and made sharp for the students joining the next year onwards. Semester exams are pretty difficult but can be easily passed.
Other: I chose Robotics and Automation Engineering course as it is a course that covers the latest technology around the world. It reflects in getting more job opportunities. In my college, events, fests, campus crowd, and all are below average, as there are not much cultural events and fests taking place. But it is manageable as when the fests and all take place, it does make a great day.

TIST provides crucial four years of your life.
Placements: The safety and fire engineering department offered 100% placements for the last few years. Even though people who have backlogs get 6.5 LPA. It offers great support from HOD and with his contacts, he has made many people in many great companies so far.
Infrastructure: Facilities are decent but labs of safety and fire engineering department is better than the same in CUSAT and it offers industrial level exposure and gives very much knowledge and fests, sports and cultural events are provided and it is better than other private engineering colleges.
Faculty: This course offers practical exposure to industry-like subjects and lab practicals, including industrial visits and extracurricular activities. It has a good faculty-student relationship, with teachers being friendly and students experiencing freedom. The safety field is growing, offering opportunities with good starting salaries. The course includes internal and lab examinations, with subjects being easy to study, except for some difficult ones.
Other: My class consists of 24 students of which 22 boys and 2 girls are there. I chose this college because it provides better opportunities among private engineering colleges that offer B.Tech in safety and fire engineering.

Good placements in 2023, good infrastructure and many more to know about Tist.
Placements: In CSE branch the placements in our college is usually high as compared to other branches. Last year about 70-80% students got placed. The highest salary offered is 7lpa and avg salary is 4 LPA. The companies include hand r block brain wired, TCS, Ninja etc. The college provides both internship drives as well as job drives.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are occupied with digital screens and projectors. There are plenty of labs for every department. There are department wise library as well as central digital library. The hostel is pretty good for girls and boys. The food is also very good in canteen as well as in the hostel mess.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified with Ph.D degree. They are very friendly and helpful. There are 2 semester each year. There are 4 internal assessment exam per year. The toughness of the question paper varies. It is mostly moderate. The course is relevant and makes students industry ready .

The college is pretty good overall with better placements and infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 75% of students get placements in our college. As long as you don't have any back papers, there is a chance of getting a job if you clear the coding test and interview. The highest package I guess ranges from 8 LPA - 10 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. Recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, IBM, Wipro, Cognizant, IBS, Hexaware, etc. Also, there are MBA placements as developers, probation officers at banks, etc.
Infrastructure: Hostel is pretty good with good food. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available. There are 2 people in each room. There are also 3 people in a room. It is a quiet space and has an almirah with mirrors. There are also study halls in the hostel. There are 2 boys hostels and 1 girls hostel. Free Wi-Fi is available in this college. Classrooms are also good with fans, powerpoint, and green boards. Labs are air-conditioned with free Wi-Fi. There is a main library and department-wise libraries. The college has 3 main blocks. One canteen has 3 stores and medical facilities are available. There is a big ground in this college.
Faculty: Except for 2 or 3 teachers, all others who taught us till now are good. The teaching quality is also quite good. The college is under KTU. The curriculum is good to an extent but not that good in making us industry-ready except for the subjects. But the college has placement training to make us ready for it. The exams are not that difficult as long as we study at least 1 week before the exams. We get 10 days leave before the semester exams and that is more than enough to score good SGPA if we study.
Other: I didn't choose this course out of interest. I didn't get a good score on NEET exam so I just wrote KEAM and got into this college. It would be good if the curriculum gets changed to something more useful to get us a job. There are several activities and functions at our college like Techfoss, Mudra Advay, etc. Among them, Advay is the best. It is a 2-day event with concerts at night.
