Toc H - Good for its academics but disappoints with the campus life and extracurricular activities.
Placements: Around 50% of the students of my senior batches got placed around these years. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, etc. Around 75-80% of students get internships from this course. Some students get placed for 11 LPA and 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Labs and library are pretty above average and have all the necessary facilities and staff. Classrooms are average when we look at cleanliness and facilities. Wi-Fi facilities are rarely available, that too only if we are working on specific projects that are given by the college faculty members.
Faculty: Faculty members at Toc H are helpful and knowledgeable. The quality is pretty decent. Course curriculum is pretty good but lengthy. But it has been cut short and made sharp for the students joining the next year onwards. Semester exams are pretty difficult but can be easily passed.
Other: I chose Robotics and Automation Engineering course as it is a course that covers the latest technology around the world. It reflects in getting more job opportunities. In my college, events, fests, campus crowd, and all are below average, as there are not much cultural events and fests taking place. But it is manageable as when the fests and all take place, it does make a great day.

Not satisfied with the campus life in Toc H.
Placements: An average number of students were placed in this course at our college. Companies like Wipro, Infosys and others are major recruiters at this college. A student who'll have a good CGPA throughout his/her academic year and who performs well in the interviews is likely to get placed.
Infrastructure: Labs and libraries are available enough and more in Toc H. Labs are pretty decent at this college. Classrooms are in average condition. Internet and Wi-Fi facilities will be provided by the faculty members for study-related purposes. Overall, above-average facilities and infrastructure are provided by the college.
Faculty: The faculty members of this college are pretty good and well-experienced. They are ready to help their students to any extent, which can be done. Academically, Toc H is a decent college. Exams can be hard or easy, depending on the question papers and evaluations at the university. Teachers do make the students well prepared for the exams. The course curriculum is pretty relevant, as robotics will be the future.
Other: I chose this course as it is slightly different from the other engineering courses out there and does provide the latest knowledge about roots and other electronics-related topics. At the same time, Toc H is not a very happening college and the campus crowd and the surroundings are very below average. Only the college fest ADVAY is one program, which is decent.

Good teaching and faculty members, good placements, average infrastructure, average college ground.
Placements: Nearly most of the students are getting placed in the college. More than 60% are getting placements from the campus itself. Im also getting many placement calls from many companies. The college supports for participating in various competitions and events.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure average. The buildings are very old and not maintained and painted properly. Hostel rooms are also average but the hostel fees is affordable for everyone. The hostel food is not much better. Many times ffos poisoning happened and 2 times worms were found from the food.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly and skilled. They know how to teach. They are well experienced and capable of making students successful. The curriculum is little bit tougher as the course curriculum includes all the streams core subjects. So curriculum is little bit difficult.
Other: When I taken the course of robotics abd automation, I was very confused as doubted about getting placements. But now im getting placement calls from both circuit and coding sections. The best part of the college is teaching. The teaches well.

Satisfied with the college very much.
Placements: High percentage of students are placed from this course and they offer minimum of 3-4 Lacs per ann um. TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc. Are the top recruiting companies for this course. Almost all students of this course got internship at companies we have heard of. Like verzeo etc. TCS has a separate position for students who take this course.
Infrastructure: All the labs are fully equipped, we have smart classrooms, fully functional library etc. Hostel is average. Sports, games etc. Are fully active and we will get medical support if needed. The food in the hostel is only average as per the reviews of the students.
Faculty: Teachers are well trained and very efficient in taking classes and motivate students to study well. The future world is for robots. Yes ofcourse we can become the part of the future by studying this course. Semester exams are easy if we study systematically and will be tough if we lose the path.
Other: Come join this college. You will find happiness.

I had the best 4 years of my life in this college.
Placements: TIST is known for its placements. They are well-conducted. Many good tech companies come for placements. Infosys, Wipro, Suderland and Google recruit students. About 100% of students receive placements in our college. Our college also receives coaching regarding job interviews and work experience.
Infrastructure: Our college has one of the best infrastructures. It has 5 major blocks named after famous scientist like Aryabhata, Einstein and Vishvachariya etc. Our college also had its hostel named Maverix for men and Chrysalis for women.
Faculty: All teachers at this college are very supportive and nice. They teach very well and make the class entertaining. We can approach them for doubts. The teachers are the best in helping for our everyday needs. Many labs are provided for teaching us.
Other: Supreme college. Friendly seniors and many awesome functions are held.

If you join this college, it will be worth.
Placements: TIST is one of the top colleges situated in Kerala. The department offers several placement training sessions to improve ourselves and prepare for placement drives. TCS and Infosys are one of the main recruiters for on-campus interviews. About 80% of the eligible students have been placed in top-notch MNCs like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, IBM, Amazon, Wipro, etc. International companies like FANUC and ABB also may come for campus placements when the first batch of robotics and automation are eligible for placements.
Infrastructure: The department has tied up with major MNCs for setting the syllabus, establishing industry-oriented laboratories, lectures, and workshops by experts, internships, and projects. The department of electronics has established the impact lab where creativity, innovation, and social mindedness are provided for both hardware and software sections. Hardware section includes CNCs, robotic arm manipulators, pneumatic and hydraulic actuators, etc. College hostel has been provided for all students with free Wi-Fi and healthy food. Medical facilities and several sports are available for entertainment.
Faculty: The curriculum and syllabus of the program have been set with inputs based on current requirements of the industry to make graduates of this program industry-ready. All the subjects of this course will be taught by our faculty members who majored in the areas of robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. About 75% of students passed the semester exams.
Other: The B.Tech. program in robotics and automation is the first of its kind in the state of Kerala. Given the increasing importance of robotics and automation and the thrust given by the government of India and AICTE, it is felt that an undergraduate programme in this area will enhance the technical skills and employability of students in addition to promoting entrepreneurs in this area. The department has robust tie-ups with leading firms in order to provide a platform for students to be exposed to the latest trends in the field of robotics and automation. The campus life is very awesome and students are feeling free to go anywhere at anytime. College fest named Advay is held every year.

It has experienced teachers with good teaching and support.
Placements: Almost 80% of passed-out students are placed in good firms. The average salary pacakge offered ranges from 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Amazon, TCS, Wipro, and Infosys are the top companies that come for campus selection. The management and staff give good support for training and placements.
Infrastructure: The classes are neat and have facilities like television and projectors in each class. It has very hygiene and safe hostels separate for men girls and boys. The canteen serves healthy and tasty food in the morning and evening, and has more than 2-3 stalls for purchasing snacks and stationeries.
Faculty: Teachers are highly educated and very experienced teachers with a helping mentality to the students and give all support they can give from their side. They are very friendly and their behavior is good. The curriculum is relevant and very near to the industry.

Our college has the best hostel facilities and faculty members.
Placements: Robotics and automation is a new course, started in 2019, so no placements are provided yet. Internships are also provided because of the pandemic. There are many famous recruiting companies coming for other courses, and ours will be known next year.
Infrastructure: The labs and classrooms are well maintained. There is a huge library. Wi-Fi is available. The hostel is well maintained and comfortable. TV and high-speed Wi-Fi are available in the hostel. The quality of food is better compared to other hostels. There are canteen and medical facilities. There is a huge ground, and many sports facilities are here, both indoor and outdoor. The hostel is inside the college, so the inmates can make use of these.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. Most of them are very well qualified and knowledgeable. They give notes and lectures. The teaching quality is fantastic. The course curriculum is very relevant. Automation and robotics are the next generation, so students are made industry-ready. Semester exams were not so hard in the first semester. The pass percentage is about 89%. But the third-semester exams were hard because of the online classes.
Other: Robotics and automation is the next generation. So, we should be advanced. So, I chose this course. Many events are held on the campus. Huge events like Sunburn are also held here.
