TKM College of Engineering has released KEAM Cutoff list for Round 1. The cutoff ranks was released for different BTech specialisations, across Home State category candidates. The cutoff ranks for the college ranged between 1196 and 9374, for the General HS category candidates. The Cutoff rank for BTech in CSE was 1196, for the General HS category candidates. Therefore, candidate under the General HS category cannot get admission to BTech in CSE at KEAM rank of 5000-10000.

Candidates wishing to secure a seat at TKM College of Engineering must apply to entrance exams such as the KEAM, GATE, or NATA. The application fee for these entrance exams are: 

GATE: Female/SC/ST/PwD candidates: INR. 900 NIFT Shillong Courses 2025, Fee Structure & Admission
General/OBC candidates: INR 180

KEAM: The KEAM application fee ranges from INR 875 to INR 1,300, depending on the candidates category. 

The admission steps that one must follow to secure admission to TKM College of Engineering are as follows:

In order to be eligible for admission to the entrance-based BTech programme at, candidates must have passed their Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as mandatory subjects. A passing score in Class 12 is required for the SC/ST category to be eligible for the programme. 

The minimal requirement for the PG programmes at TKM College of Engineering is in accordance with university regulations. After passing the Class 12 exam, students must receive at least 50% of the possible points for the merit category in a three-year degree programme that includes mathematics, statistics, computer science, computer applications, engineering, and technology as major, secondary, or core subjects. For SEBC and physically handicapped students, the minimum score is 45%. Candidates who are SC/ST must receive a minimum score. Government-specified reservation guidelines are closely adhered to. The Director of the LBS Centre for Science and Technology Thiruvananthapuram, a government body, administers the Centralized Allotment Process for admission to the merit seats.
