Excellent placement and campus life at TMI.
Placements: About 85% to 90% of students from our batch get placed through campus placement. The highest package offered is 15-20 LPA. The average package is around 6 to 8 LPA, and the lowest package is around 4 to 5 LPA, depending on the company and course. Top recruiters include Anglo Eastern, Synergy, and Fleet Management. Most students also receive internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: TMI has excellent infrastructure with modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, simulators, workshops, a huge library, and good Wi-Fi across the campus. The campus is clean, disciplined, and designed like a professional maritime academy. Hostel facilities are good with spacious rooms, proper maintenance, laundry, and security. The mess food is decent and hygienic. But the variety can sometimes be improved. College provides medical facilities, sports grounds, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, along with indoor and outdoor games for students. Overall, infrastructure and hostel life are comfortable. It support both academic and personal development.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced, supportive, and have strong maritime knowledge. The curriculum is industry-oriented with practical training, simulators, and workshops that make students ship-ready. Semester exams are moderate. Most students pass with regular study.

It's a very good college. It shows you the real world and trains you for it.
Placements: Almost 70 percent of students are already placed and it's just our 1st year. The highest packages are up to 2000 dollars and the lowest are up to 600 dollars for starting cadets. Some top companies, such as Carnival, Zodiac, and Chevron visit our college. This course offers very high-paying roles such as chief engineer.
Infrastructure: It is all very good you can get almost all sports facilities here. The sports are promoted a lot. This college doesn't just teach you discipline but also teaches you to balance your wants and needs. The food here at the canteen as well as mess is very hygienic and good.
Faculty: Exams are moderate only not too difficult. The academic faculty is top-notch and always very helpful for students so if you are focusing in class these semester exams are going to be very easy for you. Not only that but they even have an academic assistance club that can help you with studies.
Other: I chose this course because I have always loved the ocean and this course gave me a chance to work in it. I hope that the course duration was a bit shorter. The main events of our college are Transtech and Horizons. Also if you make it to the top 35 in your batch in a semester-end exam then you get a 35 percent scholarship for that particular semester.

Best maritime college one can opt for.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course is about 95 percent. The highest package offered is 40 LPA, the lowest package offered is around 4.2 LPA, and the average package offered is 28 LPA. Top recruiting companies are MOL, NYK, etc. Roles offered are such as chief engineer, port management, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connectivity is not up to the mark. Classrooms are in good condition. Bathroom conditions are average. The library is good and well furnished. Food in the mess is average. Medical services are not good. Sports and games are one of the best things in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well qualified. The course opted is well relevant. All the three courses, B. Tech, Nautical Science, and DNS, are industry-ready courses. The semester exams are quite tough, but some subject papers are quite easy, mainly from PYQs.
Other: The only reason due to which I opted for this course is because I want to explore the ocean and have an interest in machines. The best thing about the B. Tech M.E. is the future perspective.

One of India’s best Merchant Navy colleges with high placements and expert faculty.
Placements: 97 percent of students of the last batch are placed. Before that, the placement rate is around 96 percent, and before that it is 90–94 percent, so that means it is always increasing. In the Merchant Navy, there is no fixed package; there is a rank-based fixed salary and stipend is different. The stipend in companies like NYK varies between $400–500. In Chevron, it is above $500. In Dyna Gas, it is $1200. In Wallem, it is $500. In BW, it is $600. These are the stipends of a few companies. But after becoming a 4th Engineer, the salary is the same for all, around $800–1500. Companies include NYK, Stena, Chevron, BW, Zodiac, Cell Ship, Wallem, Dyna Gas, Carnival, etc. Almost everyone becomes a 4th Engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is good, Classrooms are good, and there is AC facility in every classroom. Library facility is moderate. Hostel mess food is good compared to other hostels. Cleanliness in washrooms is good. There is hot and cold water in showers 24/7. Medical facilities are not that good. Sports facilities are good, mostly all games are there.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well or overqualified and are knowledgeable in their subjects and others too. The course is relevant. They make students ready for the industry. Exams are hard enough to make students ready for the future. Around 60–80 percent of students pass on average.
Other: To join the Merchant Navy, this is one of the best colleges in Asia, so I joined this college. It gives you one of the best opportunities for onboard jobs and offshore jobs too. There are not that many fests; there are a few fests but many events. The crowd is not much. The campus is very beautiful, but the factories around it sometimes cause pollution, which affects health many times. There is a good amount of scholarships given. There are different scholarships, and there are 21 clubs in the college for extracurricular activities.

We are talking about the Tolani Maritime Institute.
Placements: 100 percent of students got placed in my batch. Every student who passed their exams got companies with the highest and the lowest packages depending on the company's case. Most of them were from the same companies so these types of each were around 600 to 800 top recruiting companies such as Torm Tankers and feet management. What actually happens is that we got placement before coming to the college only so everyone is placed. All we had to do was to clear our exams in one go whoever played was eligible to go on the vessel.
Infrastructure: There were three hostels each hostel had three wardens, 3 mess each in one hostel, and the food was awesome. You can change the menu according to your needs. There was a swimming pool, a football ground, and every possible ground for every possible sport and it was good.
Faculty: Teachers most of whom were captains had a good experience at sea so everyone was experienced, qualified, knowledgeable, and best in their field. The course curriculum was designed by IMU which follows the pattern of htcw by IMO so semester exams were conducted well.
Other: I chose this course because it gave me placement before going to college only, and the best thing is this course gives value to time 1 year course which helped me to learn all the skills required to sail on board. Events were organised. Two of the biggest events were horizons and freshers campus was big enough, and everything was fine.

Best to start your maritime career.
Placements: About 90 percent of students are placed in our course. The average package varies from company to company as it depends on our ranks. Top recruiting companies are Chevron, NYK, STENA, and BW. Most of the students get placed, and all companies on this campus are excellent.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. We have a good library, good mess food, and LAN Wi-Fi in rooms. The mess food quality is good, and canteen food is also good. Classes are small with a capacity of 40 students, and we have a smart board and Wi-Fi facility. We also have a sickbay for medical.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. Our course includes a lot of useless things also, which should be removed. Exams are very difficult to pass. The pass percentage changes every semester as there are some tough subjects in each semester.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to become a merchant navy officer, and the best thing is that there is a lot to learn and experience. I just want the course to be to the point and remove the unnecessary things. There are some events like horizons, boat racing, etc., and a lot of sports competitions. Scholarship starts from about Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,00,000.
