Tolani Maritime Institute Pune Diploma Courses & Fees 2025: Admission Dates, Eligibility & Seats

The cutoff marks for Tolani Maritime Institute vary depending on the course and the year of admission. For the B.Tech. Marine Engineering degree program, candidates must have at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII. Qualifying in IMUCET as well as TMISAT is mandatory for admission. The minimum cutoff for Tolani Maritime Institute TMISAT cutoff 2023 for BTech is to have 27 out of the 60 marks. For admission to a three-year BSc course in Nautical Science, candidates are required to attain 60% aggregate in Class 12 in the Science stream and apply for the course. Admission to this course is entrance-based.

TMISAT councelling will be held offline at the TMI campus. For TMISAT Counselling you need clear all the tests before TMISAT entrance test starts and thereafter you can have the TMISAT. Then you should qualify the entrance test, after the test completed the merit list will be called for the councelling to the TMI campus for the tests like medical there will verified by the doctors of TMI only, there will be a personal interview and online test. After qualifying all the eligible tests you can have the admission into the TMI. 

There is no such way to get the direct admission in TMI. After it's affiliation from IMU, the Institute has made mandatory to appear for the entrance tests conducted by the college itself. Candidates must clear the entrance tests along with other eligibilities to take admission into TMI. Admission through donation or other sources is a big no. After the affiliation from Indian Maritime University (IMU) in 2016, TMI has made the entrance test TMISAT and IMUCET mandatory for getting enrolled in the Institute. It is necessary and mandatory to qualify these two tests along with other minimum eligibility criteria to join the Institute. Earlier, till 2015 TMI accepted the enrollment on the basis of BITSAT and interview but after the affiliation the criteria changed.
