Tolani Maritime Institute offers PG-level MSc courses. This course is offered in two specialisations namely, Marine Engineering and Technical Shipment. The duration for each specialisation is one-year. TMI has a collaboration with the University of Strathclyde, located in Glasgow UK. A part of this course will be taught at TMI and the remaining at the University of Strathclyde. After the completion of the 16 weeks of the MSc (Marine Engineering/ Technical Shipment) course at TMI, students can get direct admission to the second semester of the course at the University of Strathclyde for a duration of 8 weeks. 

There is no such way to get the direct admission in TMI. After it's affiliation from IMU, the Institute has made mandatory to appear for the entrance tests conducted by the college itself. Candidates must clear the entrance tests along with other eligibilities to take admission into TMI. Admission through donation or other sources is a big no. Students who are interested to get a UG-level degree in Marine Engineering can apply at Tolani Maritime Institute. While pursuing BTech in Marine Engineering course at TMI, students get to do a one-month internship in the final semester at on-shore. TMI offers a four-year UG course of BTech in Marine Engineering. The tuition fee for BTech course is INR 8.4 lakh for all four years. Yes, Tolani Maritime Institute accepts IMUCET entrance exam scores for admission to most of its courses. All the courses at TMI are offered in affiliation with IMU. It is mandatory for candidates to qualify for IMU CET. TMI also conducts TMISAT which is the college's in-house online test mainly conducted for admission to Science courses. To get admission to UG courses, it is mandatory for the candidate to qualify for both exams. For DNS course, candidates also have to appear for Sponsorship tests conducted by the Registered Shipment Companies.

For Tolani Maritime Institute admissions, candidates must have a valid IMUCET score. For some courses, TMI SAT scores are also mandatory, which is an in-house entrance exam of TMI. Candidates are then required to appear for this online test conducted by the institute. The final selection is based on candidates' performance in a PI round, followed by a medical test.
