At TOMS College of Engineering and Polytechnic, candidates can apply for UG or Diploma levels courses. Admission to Diploma courses is merit-based. However, for UG level BTech programme, candidates are admitted through the following two ways:

TOMS Engineering College Is always a better option
Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placement in good companies. Package cost varies for different courses, but it starts from 40,000–above 1 LPA. Almost all big companies like Samsung, Wipro, and Keltron are the main recruiting companies. Almost 80% got internships. The best internships for ECE students depend on their interests and career goals, but popular options include embedded systems (IoT, microcontrollers like Arduino/Raspberry Pi), VLSI design, and communications technology (5G, signal processing). By taking this, you can be an Electronic Engineer. Big industrial companies are trying to take these engineers because the whole world is going EV right now, in engines, machines, everything.
Infrastructure: TOMS Engineering College is the only engineering college in Kerala having Learjet 25B heavy aircraft and Cessna 150 light aeroplane. The heavy aeroplane Learjet 25B has a 10-seater capacity. The Cessna 150 aircraft for aeronautical engineering is a two-seater aircraft. There are lots of other things too.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching Is very good and developed over time with experience. The use of printed notes makes class more effective and time-efficient. The college is under the university, so the curriculum and exams are fixed by the university. They do make the students industry-ready by doing everything practically and being fully knowledgeable theoretically. The semester exams are not that bad if you keep up with the faculty at the present moment. If you fall behind, it will be a little hard for you.
Other: B.Tech ECE is one of the best courses you can choose for your future and present. In every field, they need an electronics engineer. The syllabus for the 3rd year is a little outdated, I guess, that’s the only problem I’ve had. The events and programs are pretty good, too. They have their boundaries, but still, it’s not that bad. Sports and other things have the main priority.

Placements: Placements are offered by many companies, so many branches are available and more companies are attracted to the freshers. The big companies like JCB, Asian Paints, Rubber Board industries and Tire Industries have frequently conducted placements over the past year .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good. Another building is under construction for the expansion of the college campus and education system. The college is in the developing phase, where new infrastructure and new courses have been added and new buildings and facilities are being deployed.
Faculty: The teachers are mostly qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching was very good and it was developed over time with experience. The use of printed notes makes class more effective and time-efficient. The college is under the university so the curriculum and exams are fixed by the university.
Other: The course that I chose is chemical engineering, which is a very rare course and will have a high scope in the future. The better thing about the college is that so many rare courses are available.

Placements: Most of the people without any backlogs or with lower grades are placed in multinational companies with industry-standard packages. Some students have been placed in firms related to software development and product design. Almost all students got internship opportunities at software development firms.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is equipped with standard equipment, and it is a clean and green campus. There are many classrooms, labs, and a vast library for books. The library contains numerous books related to coursework and has computers connected to the internet to browse academic journals and catalogues. The management constantly adds new updates to the infrastructure facilities throughout the year. College Wi-Fi is allotted to students if needed.
Faculty: Module tests are conducted as soon as the modules/chapters are completed, and internal exams are held twice a semester to assess students' knowledge of the subject. Results depend on individual efforts and may vary over time. The notes are prepared beforehand and reviewed before teaching.
Other: Despite the slightly strict management, multiple festivals and events are conducted each year.
