My experience at this college.

Placements: In the final year of college, the placement procedure starts because the last semester (6th) of MCA is for internships. It is preferred to do an internship in the same company as the job. You will get various opportunities for your selection in a very good company. Seniors also help you and guide you in your preparations. Approximately every student gets placed till the end of the year. Top MNCs and conglomerates like Tata, Wipro, Amazon, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Infosys visit the campus for placements. You can apply them in the last semester.

Infrastructure: There are no hostel facilities available.

Faculty: The MCA curriculum includes subjects like Network and Database Management, Cloud Computing, Java Programming, Network Security, Python, Artificial Intelligence, etc. There are 15 faculty members in the MCA department and 3,000 staff members in the overall branch of the college. For my branch, the faculty-to-student ratio is good and sufficient. The college has one computer lab for practical sessions. The term exam follows a semester pattern, exams are conducted twice a year before every term. There are 2 unit tests held. An entrance examination is required, and we need to purchase a form online through the entrance committee. Preparation is required to crack the exam, after the examination, you get a score according to your performance.

Other: I chose this college as I was allotted it through MCA-CET. Faculty members are very good in this college, but lectures need to improve.

Campus playground and infrastructure is good.

Placements: Students are eligible to attend placements from the 3rd semester, and many do get selected. The college faculty provides CRT classes to help students crack the placement interviews. Many companies, including Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, and Mahindra, recruit at our college, and about 40% of students get placed.

Infrastructure: The hostel offers three categories of rooms: general, VIP, and VVIP. The general category is for students who can't pay all the fees at once, so they can pay the amount every month. In each room, there are four or five students, each with their own bed, bathroom (with hot water), and toilet. The VIP room has four students with comfortable beds with mattresses, a wardrobe, and a cupboard. The VVIP room is the same as the VIP room except that it has three students and air conditioning. We can eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the hostel.

Faculty: The college has a good faculty-to-student ratio, and the faculty are well educated, knowledgeable, and friendly. The curriculum for my course MCA is Network and Database Management, Cloud Computing, Java Programming, network Security, python language artificial intelligence, etc. Term exams are a semester pattern twice a week, and there are two unit tests before each term. Term exams are quite difficult, but if we stick to our goals, we can easily crack them.

Review of Tulsiramji Gaikwad Patil College of engineering & Technology.

Placements: From the final year, those whose CGPA is more than 6.0 are eligible for placements. In our class, 30% of us are placed due to the lower hiring by IT companies. The highest package is 7 LPA, and the average is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include HCL, Mountblue, Hexaware. Roles offered are associate software developer and software developer. No, we do not get any internship from the college.

Infrastructure: College environment is good, and the infrastructure and facilities provided by the college are good. Wi-Fi is available on campus and in the library. The library has all books, but we have to renew them every 15 days. The hostel is good, and the mess food is healthy and tasty. We have many canteens outside the campus and two inside the campus. No medical facility is provided by the college.

Faculty: Teachers are mostly focused on curriculum and syllabus clearance; they need to focus on projects and practicals instead of the curriculum. Our college is autonomously affiliated by Nagpur University. We design our curriculum on our own and conduct exams based on it. Semester exams are difficult to pass.

Overall, The college is good, I spent the best days of my life here.

Placements: To be eligible for placement, you have to score more than 6 CGPA. Several companies have collaborations with the college, and they come for pool hiring drives. Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and Capgemini come for hiring at an average package of 3.6 LPA. The college has collaborations with companies that offer internships with a stipend of 10k and more for 3 months. Roles offered include system engineer, full-stack developer, and data analyst.

Infrastructure: The college has a separate floor for the library and labs. In the lab, each student has a separate PC with high-speed internet. Wi-Fi is available on campus but only during the daytime. The hostel is average, as rooms are small and lack facilities like water. Mess food is good and healthy. There are three canteens, two outside the campus and one on campus. Various games are played on the ground like cricket and football.

Faculty: The faculty is good, but only for the first year. After that, some teachers' teaching is not good. The course is designed by experts in our college, and the college has obtained autonomous status from UGC. Yes, it makes students industry-ready. Semesters include class tests, mid-sem exams, practicals, orals, assignments, and end-semester exams. Students need to score 40% in every exam separately.
