Placements: I'm a B.Sc. Medical student at University College Benra (Batch 2027). Around 40–50% of students go for placements, while others prefer higher studies. Packages range from 1.8–5 LPA, averaging 2.5–3 LPA. Companies like Dr. Lal PathLabs and Fortis Healthcare visit for internships and roles like lab technician, medical sales representative, and clinical research assistant. About 50–60% get internships. Some through college, others by networking. A friend of mine even interns at a Chandigarh research lab. The college offers a good base, and with the right effort, you can shape your path in medical sciences or research.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Benra College is good, with facilities like Wi-Fi, good labs, and smart classrooms. It has a dedicated ground. There is no hostel, as most students are local and prefer to study here. Overall, it is a good college.

Faculty: As it is under Punjab University, the curriculum is up to the mark. The medical staff is well-trained, and our head, Dr. Ashoak Sir, holds a Ph.D. and has very experience. Exams are within the college, and the arrangements are good. Overall, it is a good college.

Other: The B.Sc. Medical courses at Benra College are affordable and have good faculty. There are co-curricular activities and other events. Overall, it is the best college if you just want to pursue it.
