It is a good college for a B.Tech degree.
Placements: A significant number of students, approximately more than 50, are placed from the batch of 2025. More than 20 companies visit the campus every year for placement drives. This year, companies like Infosys, H&R, Amicin, and Pisoft are visiting for placements.
Infrastructure: The hostel buildings are very large, but there are some maintenance issues. Otherwise, everything is fine. The sports facilities are excellent, with a very large stadium. Several activities are organized by the university as well as by different departments.
Faculty: On average, the teachers are very knowledgeable, and the curriculum is good. Passing the semester is a bit tough but not too complex. In one semester, there are two midterm exams and one final exam. Each midterm exam is conducted for 15 marks, and the final exam is for 50 marks.
Other: Everything is very good. I choose the CSE course because I want to complete my graduation in CSE.

Good for degrees but not for placements.
Placements: Placements are good but only if you study on your own. If you don't study you won't get placements. But the package will be only 4 LPA. If you are looking for just a degree for timepass and fun then it is good college for you otherwise look anywhere else.
Infrastructure: It gets cleaned daily but still it is a government college so poor washrooms and street dogs are everywhere on the campus. Sometimes street dogs also enter the classrooms. Hostel management is poor. There is no water for bathing for students in winter.
Faculty: Faculty members are hardworking and cooperative with students. They help us with everything possible. Curriculum is good but it can be improved for better studies. Exams are easy even if you study one night before exams, you get passed easily. Teachers give race marks if possible.
Other: It is definitely value for money if you get a scholarship otherwise it is very costly. If you get admission to an integrated course which is B. Tech + MBA (6 years) then your one-semester fee will be Rs 1,10,000 per semester.

The infrastructure is really good, and the facilities are decent.
Placements: Placements are decent, with companies like Infosys and H&R Block coming for recruitment and offering an average package of 3-5 LPA. On average, 50-60% of students get placed, but you need good skills for that. Roles like AI/ML engineer, web developer, and software engineer are also available after this course.
Infrastructure: Well-equipped classrooms with whiteboards and hands-on labs are available. The infrastructure is well-maintained compared to other universities in Punjab. The hostels are decent for the price, with shared rooms. Internet connectivity is provided in both the hostels and on campus.
Faculty: Teachers here are good, with qualifications like PhDs, and they are very helpful and provide good knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant, but to be honest, you need to do some self-study for placements because the course alone is not enough. The semester exams are decent, and the passing marks are around 25.
Other: I choose this college because I was not able to clear JEE. But after getting admission here, I realize that things are good. I just want the labs to improve in the future. Fests like Crispoletia and Youth Fest are also organized here every year.

My university has a good infrastructure and placement.
Placements: Above fifty percent of the students got on-campus placements this year. Infosys, Zoxima, and some other companies visited this year. The placement percentage increased this year as compared to last year.
Infrastructure: Our university has pretty good infrastructure. It has Wi-Fi installations all over the campus, including at hostels, labs, the library, and classrooms. The library is fully air-conditioned. Also, the mess service and quality are very good.
Faculty: The faculty typically comprises experienced professors, industry experts, and researchers with expertise in fields like artificial intelligence, data science, networking, and software engineering. Core subjects include programming languages (C, Python, Java), data structures, algorithms, database management, computer networks, operating systems, and software engineering.
Other: Various events are also held at our university. Freshers' and farewell celebrations are very common. Every year, an event is organized for two days named 'Crispoletia'.

I’m more disappointed than happy.
Placements: Not many placement options are there in PUP for B.Tech. Last year only 3 companies visited and only 12 students were placed. Top recruiting company is Solitaire Infosys. Students from my course which is ECE (electronic and communications) got internships in Solitaire Infosys and Novem Controls.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well structured and so are the labs. WiFi is provided in labs only and in a few of the classrooms as well. Hostels are not so good here, they are not well kept and drainage and water problems are constant. The campus cameras do not work properly and no security is provided to the students.
Faculty: The faculty is great. The teachers are helpful and are ready to assist you in any situation making the students industry ready. They have relevant subjects added to the course like communication skills and many more. The placements cell starts interviews from 2nd year itself to make you ready. Exams here are moderate and not so hard to crack.
Other: Many other things happen here along with studies like events being organised to make students comfortable. Crispolatia, sports events, study related events, and entrepreneurship events are held at regular intervals.

I am not satisfied because of the environment.
Placements: In our college, almost all students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA off-campus and 12 LPA on campus. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA to 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, etc., visit our campus. Almost 50% of students get internships. Top role offered is a web developer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, but the signal is weak and sometimes slow. Air-conditioners are available in labs and libraries. Classrooms are well-ventilated and huge. The library is excellent and huge. Hostels are near the UCOE department for both boys and girls.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is mostly theory-based and not practical. Semester exams are easy. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: Our college celebrates a few events.
