Personal experience at UIT RGPV.
Placements: Placement opportunities are quite good in this college with an average package of 5-6 LPA from leading companies like TCS, Wipro, Ultratech, etc. Placement rate is about 75 percent. There are no placements for civil and petrochemical branch students.
Infrastructure: Each department has its own building and they have facilities like a water cooler, a fan, chairs, a library, etc. There is a canteen with affordable rates for food items. The sports complex is also available for students. There are 4 boys' and 2 girls' hostels. The campus fee is Rs. 4,800 per annum and a mess fee is about Rs. 2,600-2,900. There is a central library inside the campus that has a wide variety of books for each course and subjects available in college along with magazines, general knowledge books, newspapers, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and supportive. There are well-qualified faculty with great teaching experience. Some faculty members are from IITs and have 15 plus years of teaching experience. There are 3 mid-semester exams and one end-of-semester exam along with practical exams in each semester. One has to attempt at least 2 mid sem exams to qualify for the end-semester exams. Exams are not too tough at my college. They can be qualified with faculty teaching and 3-4 hours of daily study.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2028
3.4

Satisfied with the infrastructure and curriculum.
Placements: Placements are average. Only students with branches like EC, EE, CS, and IT can get placed at companies with low packages. Most students prefer to go for higher studies and prepare for competitive exams like GATE, SSC (JEE), and CAT.
Infrastructure: Campus and infrastructure are good, but specifically, the boys' hostels are very bad. They don't have seats for general students. The hygiene and the food are very bad in the boys' hostels. The boys' hostels we have after the first year are quite decent, and they have facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and they help you a lot in your studies. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. I don't think this curriculum is industry-ready and not relevant like almost all state engineering colleges. The semester exams are difficult and the syllabus is very vast. Faculty members are not very strict.

B.Tech. in Information Technology - Batch of 2026

College is good, they have the purpose of only a degree.
Placements: 40% percent student are hired, and the highest package is 12 LPA. TCS is hiring. The lowest packages are 2 LPA, but your goal was to be placed in college, so you have to study. Mass hiring is only by TCS. 20-30% student are hire in internship, and the best degree is in B.Tech, but students are informed only of a degree college and expect more. Placement is not good.
Infrastructure: College is good, and all the facilities are okay. The library and e-library are the best. The canteen is okay, but the facilities are good. So many area cover college, and the college sports stadium is not open. The infrastructure is not good.
Faculty: Teachers are not helping the students; they are very rude in communication, but the teachers are knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is good, but the practical knowledge is not good. The semester exams are too tough, and they are too strict, you have to study more than you pass it.

B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2025

5Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Good placements in 2025, and some faculty members are really awesome.
Placements: Around 80% of the students got placed in companies like Volvo (core), Eicher (core), Andritz Hydro (core), TCS, Walkover, etc. With the highest package of 9 LPA and in core it was 7 LPA, whereas the lowest package was around 3.5 LPA, but the majority of the students got placed, and the rest prepared for competitive exams.
Infrastructure: Departmental labs were really outstanding, and electrical machines labs were even better than MANIT labs. The departmental library and classrooms were well-maintained. Hostel rooms were good as they had good furniture and continuous water and electricity supply.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and tried their level best to uplift you, and the course curriculum was industry-oriented and exam-oriented too, like GATE and government exams for electrical engineering. There were some subjects that were felt comfortable for students, so they must try to pass that subject instead of getting full marks, because sometimes covering too much leads to forgetting a lot.
Other: If you are interested in electrical engineering, then you should choose this course. The department is good. Fests, meetings, and training were also really good for personal growth.

This college is satisfied because of the faculty, placement in 2023 and 2024.
Placements: 95% students got a job from the placement of this college. The highest package was 36 LPA, which was taken by 2 students from Computer Science engineering and Electronics and Communication engineering. The senior of these colleges was very friendly and helpful. Seniors help you in every situation where you are tired. There were never mislead you and help you to make good decisions in college life or in placement practice.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities provided by RGPV, like a hostel and a library. The Wi-Fi system was good, but not enough to get a good internet connection. The campus was very big (3500 acres) and had very good infrastructure. The cafeteria was good enough to take a break and refresh your mood.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly and good at teaching. The semester exam was very good and easy, so that every student passed the exam. In this college, RGPV, you will get the chance to make your future bright, learn new things or build a new project. In every situation, the faculty of these colleges will help you and make your step easier to perform well in interviews, hackathons, and so on.
Other: My course was CSE. The best thing was the teaching and the practical. Conducted many fests like Garba Mahotsav, Ganesh Chaturthi, Holi, Ravan Dahan, and so on. The college will give you a chance to participate in hackathons, Lumos, and others. These types of activities teach you to make better projects and increase your placement chances.

The infrastructure was good. To be honest, placements were fewer, especially in the core sector.
Placements: 20-30% students get placed. Students gets placed in different sector especially it sector. In core sector is less but you have an advantage of switching to other field. Core branches have great opportunities in government sector especially in psu known for high paying salary.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-maintained and well-furnished across the whole campus, even featuring air-conditioned classrooms. There are good lab facilities and Wi-Fi throughout the campus. There is also an activity room in which various indoor activities are available, like table tennis, chess, carrom, etc. Overall, the facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful if you are willing to seek help from them. The teaching quality is moderate. Some courses are very beneficial, like PLC and SCADA systems, which are in demand in industries nowadays. The passing criteria are the bare minimum. If you study well, you can easily clear the semester.
Other: This course is based on a scholarship. You have to invest only in rent and food. The course fee is entirely covered by the scholarship.
