at University of Kashmir, South Campus, Anantnag

The last date to apply for admission to the University of Kashmir for the 2024–2025 academic year is November 25, 2024. Admission is based on entrance test scores and merit scores from qualifying exams. Students who took the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) can also apply. Admission to the University of Kashmir, South Campus, is primarily merit-based. The minimum eligibility criteria for UKSC Anantnag UG admission is that the students should have 10+2/Intermediate/PUC. 

Over the years this Campus has become a preferred destination of students belonging to various parts of the Jammu and Kashmir, for Post Graduate degree programmes being offered in the disciplines of Business Administration, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, English, Education, M.Ed. and Urdu. 

The salary of a BSc Nursing in a government hospital in India can vary based on several factors such as experience, location, and the specific hospital or healthcare institution. Salaries are often structured according to government pay scales and can also be influenced by additional allowances and benefits.

• Entry-Level: INR 25,000 - 35,000 (per month)
• Mid-Level: INR 40,000 - 60,000 (per month)
• Senior-Level: INR 60,000 - 1 Lacs (per month)

To be eligible for admission to M.Sc. courses at University of Kashmir, South Campus, candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in a relevant topic from an accredited university with at least 50% of the possible points in order to be considered for admission to the University of Kashmir, South Campus's M.Sc. programs. However, this may differ for specific specialisations or reserved categories. 

Students selected for admission to various courses/programmes in the university are eligible to receive two merit scholarships which are paid to top two merit holders.

Merit scholarship in favour of previous year paid students is granted on the basis of merit in the EnteranceTest to the course and in the final year it is awarded on the basis of merit in the M.A/ M.Sc./ M.Com./ MLIS Previous/ Ist & 2nd semester examination. the scholarship is granted from the date of admission to the course upto the last date of the examination, subject to a maximunm period of 12 calendar months.

The University of Kashmir, South Campus in Anantnag is accredited by NAAC with an A grade. Established in 2008, it holds an old legacy for its educational reputation and breath-taking landscape. The highest lucrative nursing position bearer is the Senior Staff Nurse.
They supervises and directs junior staff nurses and nursing students to ensure patients get the best care possible. These nurses will also be in charge of managing nursing care to such patients.
Senior registered nurses are also called upon to liaise with doctors, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists on behalf of the patients. They oversee a team of registered nurses and care assistants to ensure that they work in accordance with standards set for best practice care by the hospital.
