Strong academics with practical exposure, supportive faculty, and a vibrant campus life.
Placements: I belonged to the LL.B. course at V. T. Choksi Sarvajanik Law College, Surat. Our college had a strong academic reputation. It also provided good placement opportunities. Internship options were available to students throughout the course. In the most recent graduating batch, around 70–75% of students were successfully placed. The placements were done through the campus recruitment process. The placement packages offered varied depending on the recruiters and the role. The highest package offered was approximately 9–10 LPA. The lowest package stood at around 3 LPA. The average package across the batch was in the range of 4.5–5 LPA.
Infrastructure: V. T. Choksi Sarvajanik Law College offered a student-friendly environment with facilities designed to support academic and professional growth. The classrooms were spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with smart boards and audio-visual aids, which made the teaching–learning process interactive. The college had Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the campus to facilitate research and online learning. A well-stocked library with an extensive collection of law reports, journals, reference books, and digital resources ensured that students could access updated legal materials at any time. For practical learning, the college organized moot court sessions in a dedicated moot court hall that replicated a real court setting.
Faculty: The teaching quality at V. T. Choksi Sarvajanik Law College was highly regarded. Faculty members were well-qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable in their respective fields of law. Many teachers held advanced degrees and had practical exposure through advocacy, consultancy, or research, which they brought into the classroom. They were approachable and helpful, guiding students not only in academics but also in moot court activities, internships, and career advice. The teaching methods included lectures, case studies, group discussions, and moot court practices, which made the learning process engaging.
Other: I chose to pursue the LL.B. course at V. T. Choksi Sarvajanik Law College because of my strong interest in law, justice, and public service. The course provided a solid foundation in various branches of law, such as institutional law, criminal law, civil law, and corporate law, which opened up diverse career opportunities in litigation, judiciary, corporate legal practice, and public policy. The best things about this course were the practical exposure and skill development it offered. Activities such as moot courts, legal aid camps, internships, and debates helped students gain confidence, analytical thinking, and advocacy skills.
