Very good teaching staff and the teachers who made students' lives brighter.
Placements: On behalf of our college's civil branch, our seniors and super seniors have had almost 20-25 members placed in jobs. The minimum package provided is 3 LPA, and the maximum depends on the post, company reputation, and need. Companies like CAD, LARCEN, TUBRO, and RAMCO Cement Company are among those hiring, and we are also having internships (site).
Infrastructure: We have well-structured classrooms with digital screens and a digital library that is used for deeper reference of our subjects. We also have labs in a separate block, and many sports events are conducted in our college at the district and national levels.
Faculty: The teachers are all well-experienced, and some are even more friendly. They help us clarify all doubts and provide useful information not only regarding subjects but also other important topics. We have two mid-term exams, two internal lab exams, one semester exam, and one lab external exam.
Other: I have been fond of civil engineering since my childhood, and the depth of subject knowledge has increased my interest in the course. Civil engineering is one of the most reputed jobs that build the nation, which is very prestigious. There are many events planned to balance our curriculum studies, and there are scholarships for merit students.

A platform where we can get knowledge, experience, and jobs.
Placements: Around 40 percent of the students are being placed in various companies from this course. The highest package is 4.6 LPA. The lowest package is 2.6 LPA. Some of the students completed the internship at Larsen & Turbo (L&T) last year. The roles offered are site engineer, planner, and interior designer.
Infrastructure: The campus is a non-AC campus. The classes are fully furnished. The classes will be conducted by following the books and also with PPT related to the subjects and with real-time examples in a pleasant way. The library is also fully equipped with a lot of books regarding all the courses offered and all the subjects. The campus hostel is only for girl students. And the mess & canteen will maintain good-quality food. Sports will be conducted by the physical education department. And they encourage the students to participate in sports .
Faculty: The faculty are very helpful and they have a lot experience. They teach us qualitatively within the syllabus and help us to gain more knowledge regarding the subjects. The curriculum is 90% mainly related to the course and remaining 10% will be related to the values and skills. The semester exams will be conducted very strictly, and no cheating or copying will take place. The pass percentage is 70%-80%.
Other: I have chosen this course to establish a construction company, and the faculty encourages me more to get integrated with the industrial experts. We think that some of the missionaries in the laboratory should be repaired or replaced.

A short and sweet review of Vaagdevi College.
Placements: In civil engineering, a few students were placed in our college. Similarly, the year before, my seniors had 10 members placed in different companies like Kesoram, and a few of them are doing internships at UltraTech Construction. The average minimum package is 3 LPA, with a maximum of 12.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: At our college, we have well-equipped libraries and well-designed labs with modern equipment and systems. The classrooms are spacious and comfortable. The food available in the canteen is good, and we have sports periods once or twice every week. Our management organizes sports events and selects participants for state-level competitions.
Faculty: The faculty members are very friendly and knowledgeable individuals who help us gain proper knowledge. We have semester-wise exams, similar to the patterns of other colleges. We also gain experience and knowledge through CRT classes, which assist us in preparing for placements.
Other: There were many events organized in our college, from celebratory events to college events like signature days, freshmen's parties, farewells, and traditional days. Through these programs, we can develop our skills by joining clubs and various teams.

Our college provides monthly 5-7 jobs for practical experience.
Placements: Approximately 50-60% of the students get placed from my college every year in campus placements. The top recruitment companies are Bjyus, Cognizant, and other companies. 10-20% students are doing internships. Top roles offered in my course are circuit designer and junior engineer.
Infrastructure: My college is across 50+ acres in land. The facilities and infrastructure are available in my college are canteen, digital library, special parking place, auditoriums and Wi-Fi labs with worth of 1 crore. The quality was in my canteen was good. We usually play cricket daily and we have a college ambulance for medical purposes and many more.
Faculty: My faculty was excellent in teaching. All the teachers are friendly with us. The teaching quality was good. The teachers in my college are well experienced. They teach real time projects and experiences. This makes students industry ready. The semester exams in my college are moderately hard and everyone writes well in their exams.
Other: I will pass out in 2023. From 3rd year itself, our faculty teaches us about how to get placements in our final year.

Sir what is the cut off rank to get seat through ECET

Answered 6 years ago

Category-wise and section-wise cut off marks will be released by the authority. Candidates have to score minimum of 25% of marks out of the total (50 marks out of 200 marks) to qualify the test. The cut off marks will be set by the official authority.
