The sanctioned intake for Diploma in Civil Engineering is 60 seats. There is no Institute/Management quota in any of the programs in VJTI, Mumbai, and NRI/FN/PIO/OCI and CIWGC seats are not available in Diploma Programs.

Firstly, Need to pass Class 12 with PCM.Admission is through MHT-CET / JEE Main rank.For reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), the cutoff rank is lower than general. Example: If General cutoff for EXTC is around 1,000–2,000 (CET rank), reserved cutoff can go till 6,000–8,000 depending on category. So yes, reserved students get relaxation in cutoff during counselling.

Rather, the entry is directly merit-oriented with reference to the scores you can get in your Class 10th (SSC) or corresponding examination.The process is carried out in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) under the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. The minimum marks you should have are aggregate marks of 35% in Class 10 th in a recognised board.
