VCET Merit Based Scholarships :

1) Candidate who have scoring 195 and above eligibility cut-off marks will be given 100% Fee Waiver Including (College Fee, Hostel/ Transport Fee, Examination Fee).

2). Candidate who have scoring 190 to 194.75 eligibility cut-off marks will be given (Upto Rs.40,000/- Per year) scholarship in tuition fees.

My review about VCET: I would suggest it to anyone for a different experience being here.

Placements: All people get placed in high-reputed companies like HCL, TCS, and many more actively recruit in the college. There is a career placement cell to guide you for placements. There are courses and subjects that help you prepare for placement from the first year itself.

This college gives you the must-needed experience.

Placements: Students with 7.5 CGPA are eligible to attend the placement interview. The highest package is 25 LPA and the lowest is 6 LPA. Zoho, HCL, and Wipro are the major recruitment companies in this college. Students must have some dedication and interest to show some skills.

Velalar college of engineering and technology in Erode.

Placements: The salary package may differ from one another; it was usually based on the skill set of the students. As I was an average student and dreamed of being placed as an HR, I was asked to attend all the training by the staff. Finally, I got placed in Capgemini as a software engineer.

A Review about my college.

Placements: However we have average placements capability in our college.Literally most of the medium scaled companies came for placement drives.But lot of our friends got placed in various start up companies with decent salary packages.Literally 3.2 lakhs is the average salary package that students got placed.

Faculty of the college were experienced and knowledgeable.

Placements: Approximately 30–35% of the students get placements at this college. Students were getting decent on-campus placements opportunities. In the on-campus placements, the average package offered was between 5-8 LPA. Top recruiters in our college were IBM, Accenture, Deloitte, Infosys, etc. Top roles offered were HR, associate, advisory, etc.

Overall, the best college for MBA course.

Placements: So far, more than 90% of students who have opted for placements have been placed. The highest, lowest and average CTC of my course are 15 LPA, 10 LPA, and 5 LPA, respectively. Top recruiting firms are Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Cognizant, Deloitte, etc. 95% students got internships from college in companies like Aditya Birla, Sunstone, Lenskart and many more. Students are given roles like Digital Marketing Trainee, SEO Analyst, BDA, Research analyst, etc.

Velalar College of Engineering and Technology (VCET) in Erode is a co-educational institution affiliated with Anna University. It enrolls both male and female students—approximately 46% male and 54% female. The college has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls.
