A good college with experienced teachers that also has good placements every year.
Placements: On average, 60–70% of students get placed. The highest package is INR 5 LPA, the lowest is INR 2.5 LPA, and the average is INR 3 LPA. We get recruited from many service-based companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Accenture, and many more. Only a few get internships from BCA at different start-up companies. We get roles like teacher support, support engineer, test engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: We have facilities like labs; every classroom has projectors; and we also have a library where we have many books on different subjects. We don't have hostel facilities, don't have mess, no medical facilities, and we don't have any playgrounds for sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers here are well qualified and knowledgeable; they are very helpful. After the completion of BCA, we have a wide range of companies to work for. We even have CRT (Campus Recruitment Training), where teachers teach us how to get placed in a company. It is not difficult to pass a semester exam; if we were well prepared and wrote well, there's a 99% chance of getting passed. Our college has 83% of the percentage.
Other: I love computer science, so I chose BCA. The best thing about BCA is that you can get into any entry-level job and get an idea of how to get a high-paying job. The things that should improve are: they should make infrastructure a little better; they shouldn't push any student beyond his or her limit. We have annual day events, the campus is always crowded, the campus is too small, and we also get scholarships from the government.

The placements are very good on the campus.
Placements: 1) 75 percent of students were placed in learning courses like Java, C, C+, etc.
2) The highest package offered is INR 4.0 Lacs per year, and the lowest package offered is INR 2.2 Lacs per year.
3) The top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, and Deloitte.
4) 50 percent of students got internships from companies like Tech Mahindra.
5) The top roles offered by courses are full-stack developers.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are very good in the classrooms and also in the library. We have labs for each course. The other facilities in hotels are good, and food is available in the mess and canteen. We have medical facilities, and they will conduct games weekly or monthly.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful during the exam period, and the quality of teaching is very good. The semester exams in the college are very strict because the students need to write them on their own, and the pass percentage is above 75% because the faculty teaches well.

I am satisfied with the college teachers and facilities. I am dissatisfied with the placements.
Placements: Placements were too low for the 2024 academic year, and only a few students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The top recruiting company was Infosys. Only a few of them got internships in the college, as the job market was struck in 2023. Roles offered depend on what students have done out of the box. If we have done any extra courses than subjects taught in the course, then we could expect good roles like SDE, web developer role, test engineer, etc., or else we will be able to crack only these support roles.
Infrastructure: There are not many facilities or infrastructure in the college. It was built in between buildings so it will be too close. Classrooms are little good and washrooms are also a little good. The library hall is also good and spacious. There is no hostel in the college. There is no mess and canteen. There are no proper medical facilities. There are no proper sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified for the position they were in. There is no backslash in teaching too. As BCA is totally an IT-related course, so there's a higher chance to get placed in IT companies. I couldn't say it will make students industry-ready or not, but students gain knowledge when they learn something other than subjects taught in class. Semester exams are very easy to pass. There is no need to put much effort. If we just learn topics and give exams with practical knowledge then there is a higher chance of getting good scores in semesters. The pass percentage is more than 91% every year.
Other: My goal was to get a job in IT, that's the only reason I took BCA. The best thing about this course is we will learn every basic thing about computers, programming languages, networking, databases, etc. If they add a little advanced topics for the subjects that they provide for every semester then it could be a better improvement in the course. Every year they conduct an annual day celebration and freshers day celebration. There is not much crowd. There is nothing in the campus surroundings. There are no extracurricular activities.

Placements: Vijayam College was the top college in the Chittoor district. It provided employment opportunities to its students at Wipro, Capgemini, and Infosys. Most companies recruit students from this college. Almost 84% of students got placed.
Infrastructure: The hostel environment was good. Wi-Fi was not available. The quality of the food was good. A library was available. The library was spacious. Many books are available in the library.
Faculty: Our teachers were Ph.D. holders and talented. The BCA course was the most popular, but now, there are many choices after completing this course. There are different teachers for the various subjects. They teach lessons very patiently.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in computers.

Completely dissatisfied with the college.
Placements: Compared to other courses, BCA is good for placements. Placements are good in this course. The highest package offered is 4 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Top companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and Deloitte visited here and recruited most students among BCA students. The internships are provided during academics. If you get a job, you will be employed only after providing your marks memorandum. As we are studying degree, no top roles are offered.
Infrastructure: The facilities like projectors, fans, benches, and labs are very poor compared to other colleges. There is no Wi-Fi. There are no medical facilities, and even if you are sick, they won't send you home. There are no hostel facilities in the college. There are no sports and games, and there is no playground even.
Faculty: Teachers are somewhat helpful. They are biased among students. The course curriculum is good, and it helps us get jobs.
Other: I joined this course to survive in the software world, and I chose this college because I can afford it. My suggestion is that if you are financially good, then don't go for a degree. We face a lot of problems here. Events and fests are not good.
