December 9, 2025: Vikrant University, Gwalior experienced an extremely sacred and exciting occasion when the University was graced with the auspicious presence of Param Pujya Junapeethadheeshwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri Ji Maharaj. After 13 years, His Holiness again visited the University bringing the divine spiritual ambiance of love, compassion and devotion along with peace.
This auspicious occasion not only represented a spiritual occasion, but was also a special occasion to inspire all with wisdom, compassion, and moral strength to pursue success in education and life.
The Hon’ble Chancellor Shri R.S. Rathore and members of the management board warmly welcomed Swami Avdheshanand Giri Ji Maharaj in a deep atmosphere of reverence. A traditional shawl, sacred coconut, and, Bhagavad Gita, along with an memento, was given to Swami Ji in a gesture of great homage and devotion.
In his speech, Hon’ble Chancellor, Shri R. S. Rathore expressed great admiration for the spiritual and modest personality of Swami Avdheshanand Giri ji Maharaj, stating that Swami ji’s life represents the spirit of the Vedas, Upanishads, and Karma Yoga in the Bhagavad Gita.
He also said that to have such a spiritually illumined personality amongst all of us, here today at Vikrant University, will be a great blessing for our students as it provides a foundation for freely pursuing knowledge, humility, and righteous action in their lives and their careers.The purpose of the event was to reinforce Vikrant University’s vision of creating not just professional skillsets, but enlightenment to add to the spiritual and moral framework of society.
Vikrant University hosts InduX 5.0 National Hackathon, A 24-Hour Celebration of Innovation and Ideas
December 9, 2025: Vikrant University, Gwalior, in association with the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) and Senselive Technologies, organized Stage 3 of InduX 5.0 – the 24-hour National Hackathon on 28th and 29th October 2025, where some of the best young innovators, coders, designers, and tech-savvy young people from all over the country gathered together to work on one dream: to develop solutions that will impact the future of technology and society.
With energy and excitement, the hackathon began. The opening session included Dr. Rajesh Chhabra as the Chief Guest. He spoke to the participants about innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving while promoting the idea that technology is more than just code; it is transforming and enhancing life.
There were over 400 students from 40+ institutions across India, with groups from IIT Mandi, ABV-IIITM Gwalior, MITS Gwalior, Ramdeobaba University Nagpur, Sanjeevani University Maharashtra, RN Patel Institute of Technology Surat, ISPM BSIOTR Pune, P P Savani University Surat, and many more.
Participants collaborated in teams to begin brainstorming and designing solutions to real world problems spanning a variety of sectors including healthcare, sustainability, automation, agriculture, AI, and smart infrastructure. The campus buzzed with creativity as students began to open their laptops, fill whiteboards, and began to think with no limits.
After 24 hours of continuous innovation, teams presented their ideas, projects, and products before a jury comprised of members from the business and academic sectors. The jury rated the 52 projects in terms of innovation value, technical feasibility, market relevance, and originality, along with presentation quality.
Jury members represented or worked for organizations such as Mondelez International, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., Godrej Group, Crompton Greaves, SRF Limited, Simplifying Skills, and academic institutions including ABV-IIITM Gwalior. Their input helped students understand industry demands, helped elaborate ideas, and provided students opportunities to think on a broader and practical level.
The event concluded with an uplifting valedictory ceremony featuring Dr. Ashok K. Mittal, Retd Professor from IIT Kanpur, who urged students to strike a balance between innovation, social conscious, and national development.
To recognize the efforts of all the finalist teams, every team which reached the Stage 3 Final Presentations held at the CFI was awarded the Chancellor’s Prize of ?5,000.
Vikrant University Scripts History: Judicial Dialogue and Pharmacy Block Inauguration by Supreme Court Justice and Legislative Dignitaries
December 9, 2025: Vikrant University marked a historic milestone by hosting “Vidhi Samvad” (Legal Dialogue) – a day that brought to life invigorating dialogues to stimulate students’ understanding of India’s legal and democratic framework.
On this day, Vikrant University also proudly inaugurated the ‘Charak Block’, designed for modern academic facilities for education and research in pharmaceutical sciences.

Section I: Distinguished Welcome and Exhibition
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp and the garlanding of the idols of the Goddess Saraswati and Mahatma Gandhi representing the ideals of knowledge and truth respectively. The University warmly and sincerely welcomed the Hon’ble guests by offering mementos as a token of reverence and respect. Before the commencement of the evening session, the dignitaries contributed to the program by taking part in an exhibition prepared by the students and faculty of the School of Legal Studies. The exhibition followed the trail of the Indian Constitution and recognized some key decisions of the Supreme Court. The dignitaries appreciated and applauded the way in which students presented their work in an intelligent, creative, and research based manner.
Section II: Inauguration of the ‘Charak’ Block
A significant highlight of the day was the opening of the new Pharmacy Block, ‘Charak’, by Hon’ble Justice Shri Jitendra Kumar Maheshwari and Hon’ble Shri Narendra Singh Tomar. The block is named after the ancient scholar Acharya Charak, who is also known as the Father of Indian Medicine (Ayurveda). The block is a blend of the ancient wisdom of traditional medicine with the modern scientific’s inquiry of contemporary education.
This brand-new educational block upholds Vikrant University’s recognition of developing new, state-of-the-art infrastructure, reinforcing research capacity, and promoting innovative learning and education within a contemporary build.
Section III: ‘Vidhi Samvad’ — The Judicial Dialogue
The highlight of the day, ‘Vidhi Samvad’ was imagined to provide a forum for students to interact directly with members of the judiciary — allowing students to participate in a dialogue instead of simply listening to a lecture.
In his remarks, Hon’ble Justice Shri Jitendra Kumar Maheshwari stated that the Constitution of India is the life force of democracy — embodying the ideals of freedom, equality, fraternity, and justice. His comments inspired the students to see the practice of law as a noble profession dedicated to the service of society.
The interactive component of the question-and-answer session following the lecture was at the heart of Vidhi Samvad. Questions from students enabled dignitaries to consider and engage with sound reflections on various subjects related to law, justice, and constitutional obligation. Dignitaries responded directly, providing thoughtful, constructive, and courageous responses – a worthy discussion that created a meaningful dialogue between academic leaders in the judiciary and aspiring leaders at the law school level.
Hon’ble Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar acknowledged the interactive element, maintaining that Vidhi Samvad gives students a twofold experience of democratic and judicial life, linking classroom learning with the real world.
A number of distinguished judicial officials, including Hon’ble Justice Anil Verma, Hon’ble Justice Vivek Jain, Hon’ble Justice G.S. Ahluwalia, Hon’ble Justice D.D. Bansal, Hon’ble Justice Hirdesh Srivastava, and Shri V.S. Chauhan, Former Acting Chief Justice, Madhya Pradesh High Court, further distinguished the event.
Their participation enriched the discussion and demonstrated the emergence of Vikrant University as a venue of academic and civic engagement.
Section IV: Conclusion
