A dynamic course with a great campus.
Placements: About 50% of students were placed, and the rest of students were either working as freelancers or opted for higher education. The average package was 4 LPA, the highest was 5 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. Dristi IAS and sportscomm were the top recruiting companies. As for the internships, there were two mandatory internships where students either found one for themselves or, if they were unable to find one, the college provided one for them.
Infrastructure: Facilities of the college were quite good, and it was well-maintained. The campus was very green and lively. In short, the campus was beautiful and serene. There were multiple libraries for each course. Wi-Fi issues might have been present. Air conditioners were available in each class, and the lecture halls were big. Various labs, such as the computer lab, radio lab, and others, were available, and one studio was available. There was no hostel facility in the college, but there were PGs available outside the college.
Faculty: The course was very vast, dynamic, and knowledgeable. Teachers were very qualified, graceful, and extremely talented. They were also helpful and would go beyond and help you with your projects. The semester exams were easy to moderate, depending on how much the student was willing to put in.
Other: The course was very helpful in building confidence and making students aware of multiple things happening. Overall, it was an interesting course.

Good infrastructure & campus life!
Placements: As I’m in 2nd year rn, I haven’t heard a lot about placements happening from my course. From what I have heard from seniors, the placement rate is moderate, with the highest packages reaching competitive levels. Some well-known companies recruit here, but internships are mostly self-initiated.
Infrastructure: VIPS Infrastructure is obviously the best. Talking about BAJMC specifically, the video studio, radio room, and labs are just perfect. It allows us to gain practical skills essential for the media industry. Though VIPS doesn’t offer any hostel facilities, you need to go for PGs and flats.
Faculty: Good! The faculty of BAJMC is both knowledgeable and supportive. Most of them are industry-related. Other than that, the syllabus is not that accurate as per the course. I think more practical classes should be added, other than theory. Other than that, the faculty is fine.
Other: Overall, VIPS will give you an amazing campus life.

VIPS is a great college for doing Bachelors in journalism and mass communication.
Placements: Placements were good as the placement cell provided enough opportunities and provided offers to get good jobs and better industry exposure. Many publishing houses and graphic designing jobs with public relations, editing photography were explored during placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is big and have all the basic amenities like library for every department, canteen, basketball court, badminton court, football ground and indoor games. Classrooms and studios have centralized AC. The college doesn't have hostel facilities yet.
Faculty: The overall curriculum of the course is well structured. The faculty is supportive and highly educated. The teaching style includes exposure to practical things also along with theory knowledge. The exams are conducted every semester both internal and external examination.

Good infrastructure and the faculty is supportive.
Placements: Placements are mostly self-initiated. Placement cell helps us with sorting out the opportunities and related vacancies. Students have managed to get placed in good firms after passing. Top roles include Public Relations, Editing, Graphic Design, Social Media Management, etc.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is good. Classrooms have centralized ACs. The campus has a canteen with good-quality food, a football field, a basketball field, and indoor games. Every department has its own library. Studios are well maintained with advanced equipment. VIPS doesn't provide hostel facilities.
Faculty: The faculty of BAJMC is well-educated and experienced. They teach with great enthusiasm. They are supportive and motivate students to grab opportunities. The curriculum is good with updated content and the course for journalism includes sprint, radio, broadcasting, editing, photography, videography, etc.

Vips: a beautiful place to begin your career with.
Placements: There is almost 80-90% guaranteed placement in VIPS. The package can vary from 4-12 LPA yearly. NDTV, AAJ TAK, and RADIO MIRCHI are the top recruiters. 50-60% of the students got internships in renowned media agencies as journalists or camera persons. Overall, I feel that it is an excellent college for a good career.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel at our college. The overall college infrastructure, including the classrooms and library, is very good and clean. The canteen food is tasty, and hygiene is taken care of. However, the area outside the college is a bit messy and not maintained properly.
Faculty: Mostly all the teachers have done Ph.D. and have "Dr." in front of their names. Additionally, for my course, the teachers have experience in the media sector prior to their teaching professions. The course not only provides book knowledge but also practical knowledge. The semesters are not very difficult, and the passing marks or percentage is 33%.
Other: The college is centralized, and the gardens are well kept! There is a big variety of food in the canteen, and the teachers are very helpful, clearing all your doubts without any tantrums.

Some institutes put the age criteria of the candidate to be less than 30 years. Therefore, you are eligible for the journalism course. Join NIMCJ for BJMC course without the age limit. https://www.nimcj.org/bjmc.html
